Alaskan Naturals Salmon Oil Salmon Oil with Glucosamin/Chondroitin/MSM for Dogs, 16-Ounce Bottle

My 5 year old daschund started having back problems where she was dragging both her back legs. We thought she was going to need surgery on her spine but with a little help from her vet who told me to start giving her both of these, some TLC for the past 4 months and a back brace on found on line for her, she is doing 100% better. I also give it to my 3 year old daschund so he does not start having the same problems. I tried it in their food but they did not like it but when I put in on a tablespoon each morning they coming running and they fight over who is going to get to it first. I do wish it came in a larger amount and with a pump as it would make it easier to put it on the spoon every morning.

I wanted my dog to agree...I thought Wow omega's and glucosamine Chondroitin in one!!The stuff smells very fishy...yes it's Salmon oil but Sparky doesn't like all his food tasting or smelling like this I suppose.I sure tried!!And he's the one that needs to love it!!

My dog really liked the flavor of it and it did help with her itchy skin at the base of her tail and bum. Some people say the smell is bad, but come on people, it's a fish oil. It doesn't smell any worse than opening a can of tuna. We have stopped using it only because we are trying olive oil instead as it is much cheaper. If the olive oil doesn't work, I will certainly go back to this product!

Biscuit is an older dog who isn't typically a finicky eater but Schatzi our German Shepherd 20 month old puppy kept eating his fish oil pills! I bought this on an idea from a friend who suggested i put this on their food for health skin and coat. I just started using and Schatzi the finicky one is eating it UP with her food. Biscuit is loving it too! I give it four paws up for flavor alone, more to follow as far as the skin and hair improvement.

It smells like fish, of course, but the dogs love it! My dog used to have problems with torn knee muscles, so she couldn't run without ending up bed-ridden and limping for a week afterward. Now, she can play fetch and run around at the park with no negative effects and she's almost 6 years old. So, I'll keep buying it if they keep making it!

Would have given it 5 stars but can't get past the smell of fish breath in our dog whenever i give this in the morning.

My veterinarian recommended this particular oil be added to the dog food we make for our three older dogs. The salmon oil is an excellent additive, and the glucosamin and chondroitin see to help with the arthritis of the older animals.

I swear by this stuff - my 12 y/o lab has a new spring in his step and even runs around and plays with our younger lab now when he could barely get up and walk previously.
