Awesome paints , very expensive though

A very good selection of good quality paints from Army painters fanatic line. I've recently started dipping my brush into other paints and moving away from citadel paints. This was perfect for me to give me a bit of everything. It seems pricey and it is but you get a lot for your money. The paint stand is really nice too. My only criticism though, is that when I was putting together the stand I found some of the pieces needed a lot of force to go together and I broke a few parts. Didn't stop me from putting it together though. Other than that, the Paints are great, very good pigment and they go one very nicely.

This is a really great set of paints. Really pleased with the range of colours and quality of the paint.

I absolutely love this set of paints which consists of 50 little bottles of different colours including some skin tones, metallic colours and effects like blood in addition to the large selection of acrylics. The set also includes 2 brushes and a paint station which is a multi teared stand for storing and displaying all the paints. The stand arrives flat packed but takes minimal effort to put together and is a great way to present all the paints keeping them tidy and easier for using.I've been creating various models with a 3D printer for a while and have intended looking at painting them and exploring the best ways to achieve good results so this set has been a good way to start learning how to paint models and these paints have been working really well with 3D prints. Each little bottle has a couple of ball bearings to mix the paint when given a good shake and the paint comes out quite easily through the tip.The results have been varied depending on the filaments I use and how I finish the prints but so far I'm finding PLA is giving me better results and especially if I lightly sand the models first and then apply one or two coats of primer. These colours then look awesome and the acrylic colours provide a nice matt looking finish and bring the models to life.Now as I'm new to painting models I wouldn't say I've produced anything as good as the models on the vendors site, not even close, however I'm having immense fun with this set and I'm learning and improving with each model I create. For a set of this size the cost is quite high as you'd expect but the quality of what you get is excellent, however if you're new to this hobby like myself it may be worth looking at some of the smaller sets this vendor produces to get you started. Highly recommended.

This isn't a cheap set of paints, but for serious modellers and hobbyists that isn't an issue.So what's in the box?Fifty, yes fifty paints (36 acrylic, 4 washes, 4 skin tone, 3 effects and 3 metallics), a build it yourself station to store and display the paints and any brushes or tools you may have, a painting guide and a brush. That's quite a lot.I love the names of the paint - it gives a sensible and vivid indication of how, why and where the paints could be used - Wolf Grey, Abyssal Blue and Weapon Bronze to name but three examples. The paints are in handy sized bottles, it's excellent that they have mixing balls included in each bottle to help prevent separation and the dropper helps control the amount of paint being used so there's little waste. The caps re-seal the bottles keeping paint fresh so there's less risk of colour deterioration. All good.These are quality paints, yes that makes them seem a bit expensive, but you only need a very small amount per figure because the coverage is good and a little goes a long way, which makes them a lot more economical to use than cheaper, thinner paints.At £155 for the entire set (as at 6 March 2024) this does seem a lot, but when you consider the cost of an individual bottle of paint then it really isn't, and that's before you take into consideration the stand, brush and guide.

This is a pack of 50 paints with a wide range of glittering and shimering war paintsIt comes in a nice box and includes some cool stickers info pack and I love this a paints rack you need to build it yourself but it's easy enough I'm not building mine yet I'm short of space to leave them out on show but I love the fact I can and will in futureThere's some lovely colors here reds, greens, blue, golds, pinkss browns and rusts, these are perfect for painting model soldiers trolls clansI'm going to try and 3D print some figures and see how they apply to that but in terms of normal figures plastic or metal the paint sticks so well these are premium paints no second touches needed in most cases unless detailing they are also great for detailing with its glittery pigments and texture metals leather and things like that will look great I'm not sure If i have seen such diverse color kits this goodif I have they are far more expensiveI think this is fairly priced for 50 premium paints and a rack I like that rack too it's a great addition highly recommended

These paints are brilliant and have a wide range of colours to suit most painting tasks. These are aimed at Warhammer models but can be used for all model painting. Even if you want to do some small canvas painting, these acrylic paints will be up to the job. For larger canvas these might be a little small and it will probably be worth getting less range and mixing colours to make your money go further.The included stand keeps these bottles organised and kept out of the way. The included brush is mainly for detailing but a great addition for someone getting into painting as an all in one starter kit. The colours are named imaginatively and are geared around models.
