Good stuff
Costco used to offer a Wild Salmon Oil with Probiotics that I used to buy, first at the store, then online. I had to buy 2 HUGE bottles and a friend used to take the other bottle (we each only have one dog). It became unavailable through Costco and then I found it but price had skyrocketed. I tried this and my dog has taken to it very well.I like the pump dispenser as this is less messy and the Costco one didn't have that. I also like that the bottle is smaller, so it takes up less space in the fridge.I would like to see this offered with probiotics... my only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars, and I would have issued 4.5 stars if I could have.Fish oil is very healthy in the diet - canine as well as human. There are reported cancer-preventing properties, overall heart health, (Omega 3 aminos that the body can't make). Great for hair and nails. It also gives my Sheltie a fantastic coat.I have to mention that my dog had been getting it for a few years and at one point I ran out and procrastinated ordering more (online via Costco). I also was wondering "if it really did anything anyway". After almost 2 months without the Salmon Oil, my dog got a Urinary Tract Infection. We cleared it up. The following month she got another U.T.I. I was speaking with my veterinarian, who mentioned, "You might want to try putting her on Fish Oil". Really - No kidding. I told her that I had stopped a few months ago. The vet said, "Yes, Fish Oil is VERY GOOD for a LOT of things." Well, back on the Salmon Oil and I don't let us run out of it any more! I honestly don't know if it was the lack of Salmon Oil, but I'm not taking anymore chances... knock on wood, we have had no further Urinary Tract Issues since.A single product that has so many health benefits to help me keep my beloved fur children happy and healthy!

if only my dog could talk
I give it 4 stars. If my dog would tell me it's as good as I think it is for him, they'd get the 5th star of course. So far, my GR (with knee replacement) is as frisky and active as one without the repair. I think this helps.

Helping with shedding?
I bought this product back in July of this year. As far as what I purchased it for, I think (hope) it is helping with my husky/mix problem. My dog is, as most huskies are, a real shedder. So far it seems to be helping, at least I haven't seen quite as much hair around. She sheds heavily in the spring and fall. Time will tell, though....

Product is good, but make sure you don't screw up like ...
Product is good, but make sure you don't screw up like I did. I thought for the price I was getting a 32 oz bottle, but it is a 15.5 oz bottle. My mistake, I'll take the hit, but for others, Amazon offers the 32 oz bottle for about two buck less than what this company is screwing you over for. SO BE CAREFUL, I wasn't and paid WAY TOO MUCH!

Not sure if it is effective
My dogs love the taste of this salmon oil. One of my dogs is a picky eater but he will eat all his kibble if I put this oil in his food. However, they still scratch themselves, so this product probably was not effective for improving their skin or coat.

healthy pets
This is a great product. I give it as a supplement to my black lab and to my cat . I give it to them on their food. They love. Their coats are beautiful and it is good for them in so many ways. Thank you for putting a good product on the market.

not as good as I hoped
I had read good things about Alaskan salmon oil for dogs so when my vet said that my little one's coat was dry I decided to try this oil. It arrived quickly. My dogs ate it, when mixed with their food. Each time, however, they seemed to have the runs. Not a good thing. I discontinued it and they were fine. Maybe some dogs can stomach it and others can't. Try carefully.

great for the dog coat
This last a long time.(must be careful to smell it,in case it goes rancid).Dog loves it and her coat(and teeth) are youthful looking,Enhances her wanting to eat. Also omega properties are beneficial to her general health.Costs a lot less than going to Alaska to catch the fish,(I know,I did it recently)..
