Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful music and album. Her voice is gorgeous and it sounds so crisp and clear on record. The physical record itself is a lovely blue, and it comes packaged with a whimsical board game. An album you will want to play repeatedly and regularly.

Laufey is a truly talented artist who is just beginning to display her abilities
Laufey's rich, clear voice with those amazing low notes reminds me so much of the late Karen Carpenter. Every time I listen to Laufey's songs I hear something new. Here lyrics carry an enticing depth and her phrasing is incredibly creative. You will not be disappointed with this offering from a truly talented artist.

It’s warped
Music is great and love the packaging. It plays fine, but the vinyl is warped a little.

I’ve listened to this record so many times now but can’t tire of it. Definitely a must have if you’re a Laufey fan. Beautiful records. Excellent sound.

The vinyl version is of abominable quality. There's definitely a flaw in the pressing of the record, because both suffer from the same problem. At first I thought I actually had an issue with my record player (Rega Planar 3, not the average record player), because I thought I was listening to a 1930s recording of a ... man!). Not to mention the awfully distorted sound! I switched to a Lester Young Quartet record (Collates), which sounded superb and crystal clear as ever, so it's definitely not a matter of my system. My advice: stay as far away as you possibly can from the vinyl version of this recording, it's about as bad as it can get.
