It's clear that Counter Culture takes their roasting seriously. The best by date is only 4 months after the roasting date. This half caff option makes me feel better about having a third cup of coffee and keeping the caffeine intake within the recommended range. All of the other half caff beans that we've tried seem to somehow sacrifice flavor and aroma, but this one didn't. Great combination of being smooth, mellow, and aromatic, while also flavorful. The Even Keel was also a popular choice for our grandparent aged guests who have a little bit lower tolerance for caffeine. All in all a product worth recommending, would buy again.

We are really enjoying this decaf coffee and it is our current favorite. It has a great flavor and no bitterness or harshness. We also appreciate the fast processing and delivery - it arrived 4 days after its roast date so it was nice and fresh.

I use these in my Brevilla Barista Express machine as my primary breakfast/mid-mornihg coffee. I've tried a few half-caff whole bean blends, and this one is the best one so far. My friends and family have also tasted this coffee and love it. The tasting notes of graham cracker and softness are true to taste. It works well in lattes and mochas, both iced and hot.

Great taste & flavor ... but pricey

I recently became a Counter Culture Coffee Lover when I gave up big named grocery store brands.Having tried two flavors found locally I knew from the flavor profile that I would enjoy this. I ordered the double pack but only one arrived. Contact with the company both through Amazon CS channels and the company's email service, I was able to get the problem resolved quickly.You have to wait for this coffee to be roasted before shipment but it's so worth it. I received my replacement within a week.The company Counter Culture have great relationships with growers world wide. They support ethically produced, single origin beans sought out by coffee experts and specially selected for excellence. Every bag helps support the growers locals,workers, and the land for a sustainable product.And it's absolutely delicious.I like that this half caff so I can enjoy an evening cup through fall and winter.It's smells incredible and tastes so fresh and smooth.No bitterness or acrid taste as with big brands which are ladened with chemicals and pesticides.My other favorite flavors are Forty-Six, Big Trouble, Gradient, San Miguel... This is the best decaf coffee I’ve ever found ! A couple of others get close but this really is fantastic.

This is for Slow Motion. Probably the smoothest and the most flavorful decaf coffee I've had.

After being relegated to the pits of despair (no more caffeine) by doctors orders, I started my journey of finding a decent decaf coffee bean for espresso and my daily brew. I’ve been through way too many decaf coffees and wasn’t holding out any high hopes for this one. Boy was I pleasantly surprised!The beans smell fabulous, the coffee brews beautifully and the taste…yes! Smooth, chocolate undertones with a nice touch of sweetness. Great black or dressed up (I see you my fellow flavored syrup lovers)!As previously mentioned, the roasting date is stamped on the back along with a best by date and the bean origin.I will be buying more of this coffee as its now my daily go to brew!
