Finally I found a long long lasting and good quality strings

I have not tried so called carbon strings before. The name suggests that they are made of carbon fibre but this is not the case, they are made of a fluorocarbon polymer. They have a clear sound and its easy to hear the separate voices when more than one note is played together. The strings have settled in quickly and do not need much retuning each time I play. I don't quite know why but the strings have a good feel and seem a bit easier to play than my previous strings although I can't see why that should be.

The most noticeable thing for me is the improvement in projection and sustain on the treble strings. The basses are strong without being boomy. On a guitar that has good bass response but weaker treble they work well for me. I’m a guitar teacher with several guitars; I don’t put them on cheaper guitars, as I can’t hear the benefit, but on a higher quality guitar (£2000+) I like them a lot.

First string (E) snapped within 2 hours. B string looks like it has cuts in it. Very disappointed and will not use these again.

I bought a new classical as I had not had one for a few years. It sounded shocking on arrival, so I hunted for a set of Daddario and found that since I last bought them the do these Carbon Strings, and my word they are amazing. They transformed my guitar into what I hoped I'd bought. Absolutely beautiful crystal highs and rich sonorous lows. These are amazing and are the only string I will be using from now on.

Tuned the strings to standard tuning, but the treble strings wouldn't stay in tune. About a week later I woke up to find the strings had snapped overnight and had left a gash on my guitar's top where the strings hit the top. I regret trying these. They damaged my instrument, and were a waste of money. I've never had the treble strings snap on me before in maybe over 17 years of using D'Addario nylon strings. I cannot recommend these carbon strings. On the sound, they are brighter than the regular nylon strings I've used before. If you prefer a rounder, mellower classical sound, these won't do. If you like the brighter sound, closer to a steel string acoustic, then maybe these will work if they don't snap like mine did. They look thinner than regular nylons, and they appear to have higher tension (I bought normal tension ones), which is perhaps why they broke. Perhaps because of the higher tension, they also feel a bit louder and punchier, but not as deep.

I bought this in September (2022) but only got to string one of my classical guitars with it last Sunday (201122), looking forward to a beautiful rich sound. When I opened the packet, I noticed that the G string had a flaw in; kind of like little fray. I decided to go ahead anyway. Immediately after stringing the guitar, the sound was indeed beautiful; warm harmonics. However, the very next morning, after retuning, I discovered that all the treble strings were completely flat - dead - no harmonics whatsoever. A snare drum has a great deal more than those strings. A few minutes later… twang! The B string of all strings snaps. I restrung the guitar with Hannabachs and now my 1970 Yairi Gakki sounds beautiful again. Please note, this is not a dis of all Daddario strings. I like them and use them all the time, but this particular Carbon set is definitely a dud. Fortunately Amazon immediately reimbursed me following the return of the dud set. I would definitely NOT recommend this carbon set to my worst enemy.

Dopo aver provato diverse marche, queste hanno ridefinito i miei standard. Cantini in carbonio eccezionali: I cantini al fluorocarbonio offrono un'intonazione impeccabile e una proiezione sonora incredibile. Il suono è brillantissimo, cristallino e incredibilmente reattivo al tocco, senza mai risultare troppo aspro. Feeling e durata: La tensione normale le rende morbidissime da suonare anche durante le sessioni di studio più lunghe. In più, la durata nel tempo è sbalorditiva: mantengono la brillantezza e la vivacità del timbro molto più a lungo rispetto alle corde standard. Verdetto: Un set di livello professionale che vale ogni singolo centesimo.
