SMALL BUT STRONG
Used around the chicken lot to keep netting up high enough so chickens couldn't fly over fence. Working great in all types of weather. Note:diameter is small.

Great price, very useful!
I was able to use this to hang light strings around my patio and large garden, then had enough to create a couple of trellises for cucuzza and mirliton (which get pretty heavy under a decent harvest). This is a great option to keep on hand because the price is great, and it can be used for so many things.Next is a clothesline for hanging my sheets, because who doesn't love that fresh smell?

Nice spool of wire!
This arrived exactly as described. I got it with another kit that included a crimper and now I've got wires to hold up Christmas lights that will outlast me. One thing I did notice is that the wires got a tiny bit saggy after a few months of load. I don't know if that's because the wires relaxed a little, or maybe I just didn't crimp them hard enough. But I suspect it's my fault -- I don't think you can appreciably stretch stainless steel by dangling some LED lights from them.

Very Useful Light Steel Cable
The vinyl coating helps to weatherproof the steel cable, but please remember to remove the coating wherever you plan to crimp on a ferrule. Use a quality crimper and always double crimp each ferrule. If you do leave the vinyl on inside a crimped ferrule, keep in mind that the ferrule is not biting down on the cable – it’s trying to hold the vinyl instead which isn’t nearly as strong. You may also want to consider using “cable thimbles” to deliver the best finish at the ends of your cable runs.

Handy for all kinds of things!
I've been using vinyl coated wire rope (thin steel cable) for various projects including fencing rails, clothesline, and hanging shelves. This product is as good as any I've tried. Strength and flexibility are excellent and the "304" label gives me the extra confidence that it will be rust-resistant.This wire rope is thinner than most others I've used, making it perfect for my current project of suspending lights for plant shelving. Those shelves are suspended with similar wire rope but the lights were supposed to be fixed to the shelf above each level with double stick tape and I don't like that look. The nominal load limit of 56 pounds is more than plenty for this and many other projects I'll be able to use it for. As shown in the product photo, but not mentioned in the text description, it comes with a generous packet of 2-channel aluminum crimping sleeves (about 100) to make loops or join adjacent strands. For those wondering what other kinds of nuts, bolts and termination hardware to use, I recommend putting "wire rope hardware" into Amazon's product search field, and picking the products that will help complete your project.

Wire Guide Rope
Nice little spool of wire rope. Looks like it's twisted/braided and has a nice (vinyl) coating on it. It's quite thin...about 1/16", so it quite disappears in the air when you're using it to support string lights. I preferred to twist the string lights around the wire, since I didn't want to deal with zip ties or other fasteners. Looks pretty nice and keeps the dreaded 'sag' in the string light from happening.Comes with suitable crimp sleeves to form loops at the ends of the wire. You do need to get your own crimper, but if you have a good set of pliers, you might be able to make those work (although it won't be as easy or clean). At 200', it's more than enough for most backyards, but does come in longer lengths if necessary.

Many Household Uses and It's Stainless Steel
This vinyl coated wire rope has many uses around the house. You wouldn't want to use this for something super heavy over 40-50 lbs, but light duty use such as to reinforce an outdoor light string or banner. I am using it to replace some worn and fraying wire rope on several bird feeders, using the aluminum clamps provided. It's just perfect for that use! This spool is an excellent value for 200 feet, especially with the bonus crimps. There's everything to like here: a lot of rustproof stainless wire rope with vinyl covering, crimps, and price. Perfect for light duty outdoor uses.
