I take them at 5pm
I've only tried twice now. I plan on taking them at 5pm to get me through the rest of the day.I do PT cleaning evenings/nights. So this will be great in that it won't keep me up all night after work. Both times I've taken, I've just let them dissolve in my mouth. Slightly minty, but also medicine-y taste. It's not candy but nothing I'd have to spit out.I was feeling tired and I remembered to take one of these just now. Just before it was completely dissolved I noticed the tiredness lifted slightly. It definitely took the edge off. I also feel a slight mood boost. Also some good sensation in my body. I think with some physical activity this would be great.I haven't taken caffeine in 30 days before trying these. I do plan to use these instead of caffeine. But I plan on only taking one due to cost. So far I think I would buy another bottle.Yea, I like these. Brought me out of a bit of a slump without having to use caffeine so late in the evening.

Potent
I only tried this produce twice and my experience was that it did increase my focus substantially. The second time I tried it, I also had taken small doses of Rhodiola, citicoline, and green tea that day, and the combination proved to be too much for me. I initially felt anxious that day after taking it, then a feeling of stress that accompanied the focus. I tend to be sensitive to stimulating substances, so this did not surprise me, but it did highlight the fact that this supplement is potent. I have a friend who was coming off Adderall and felt very unfocused, and after I gave him a dose of this supplement, he reported very positive results and was very impressed, so I gave him my bottle. My conclusion is that I am personally going to be cautious about using this supplement due to my own sensitivity, but I would imagine that most people who are having problems focusing would benefit from it. Both my friend and I also appreciated the dissolving tablet as opposed to a pill. I noticed that the tablet has excellent sublingual absorption, as the second time I tried it, I kept it in my mouth for about 5-10 minutes and then spit it out (because my stomach is sensitive to caffeine), and I felt the effects strongly for 12 hours or more.

Tastes legendarily bad
I didn't believe the reviews that said it tasted really bad. "It's probably not that bad", I thought. Besides, this was the only option I could find that had a 100mg paraxanthine dose (vs 200 or more).I was horribly wrong. Had one and I can't stomach the idea of another. Horrible chemical taste. Some friends also tried and could not stomach. The taste lingers in your mouth too.

Perfect for Pre-Workout & Focus Work
These Focus Bites really work for a pre-workout! I don't like all the nasty stuff that typically comes in pre-workout. For me, caffeine is the best option. Since these bites contain paraxanthine, you're basically getting a solid hit of the caffeine, but with a shorter half life and no jitters. As for the taste, I thought it was fine. A bit of peppermint to it. I didn't have any aftertaste. If you need a quick hit of energy, along with some increased focus, these are great!

Oh boy!
The flavor is terrible! BUT, it does work quite well…after you get past the taste.

Energizing but it tastes so bad!
The active ingredient in these energy tablets is paraxanthine which is basically what caffeine is metabolized into after you take it. So the term "caffeine free energy" is somewhat misleading. Although it doesn't technically contain caffeine, it has a very similar compound that your body would turn caffeine into so it's kinda a caffeine supplement. Paraxanthine has some differences to caffeine but you can expect to get similar effects from the two.So these are relatively energizing. I usually take half a tablet for a mild boost in energy. They work as expected which is great. The main problem with these is the taste. The directions say to chew a tablet. I tried this and I can report that they taste absolutely vile. There is a weird "melon" flavor with a very strong chemical flavor that sticks in your mouth for a while. I was appalled at how terrible these tasted. After chewing that first one and tying to wash my mouth out for the next 30 minutes to get rid of the flavor, I decided that I will never chew one of these again. Now I just swallow them whole like a capsule to avoid tasting too much of the terrible chemical melon flavor. Usually I can tolerate chemical flavors pretty well. I take some supplements with a strong chemical flavor by dissolving them in water and drinking them. But these tablets taste so absolutely retched that not even I can deal with the flavor. I would not recommend chewing these like the container recommends.Overall these are OK energy tablets. They are decently stimulating; however, you might as well just take caffeine since the active ingredient in these (paraxanthine) is just a metabolite of caffeine which has nearly identical effects. Take the "caffeine free energy" with a grain of salt. Technically its caffeine free but it will do the same thing as caffeine. And these taste terrible. I would not recommend chewing them under any circumstances.

Does what it says!
Gives me a little extra umph in the morning without the jitters. Took a 1/2 of one the other night when I was going out and a little tired. No jitters and still easy to go to sleep.
