We had been looking for a good way to track chores in our house for a while when we came upon this one. It is a very clear way for our children to see what the chores are, which ones have been accomplished, and how many "points" they've accumulated. As you can see in the picture, we modified it a bit so instead of having "Weekly" chores, we put the dates of the weeks that we were tracking. Our chores are more daily than anything, so it made more sense to put the weeks in with their totals so that at the end of the month (or whenever 4 weeks are up) we can calculate. I also like that there is a place to write the "Reward." We are also able to decide how many points we want the kids to have in order to get said reward.The only complaint I have, which is why I gave it 4 stars out of 5, is that the chalk markers that came with it don't work very well. The first time we used them they were great--vibrant and not runny, but every time after that they would run and drip into other boxes and were pretty dull. So, we ended up just getting regular Expo dry erase markers, which work just as well, they just aren't as exciting.I would ultimately recommend this product, however, because it is so hard to help kids keep track of their responsibilities as they get older and we are happy to have found a system that works so far.

I love this chore chart! I use it as a combo chore/behavior chart. It’s easy to personalize because it’s a blank chart. I love that I can set the points and the reward up myself. It’s great having the option for daily and weekly tasks. The magnet is huge and sticks easily. I’ve tried so many diffferent types and this is the only one that fits our family and works well. I’ve showed all my friends. This is my favorite purchase all summer - and I’ve made a lot!

I loved everything about it!! Its cute, simple and come well packed in a hard flat envelopes so when you put it up it sticks great no curves to try flatting like the ones that are shipped rolled up. The only thing (which is a plus in others less nice Mat/board) is the pen is not a magnetic pen so you cannot stick by the mat/board and it dies not come with something to erase. This does come with 2 pens blue and orange (In my case) I am not fan of the orange and their lid is not magnetic nor has any eraser but a cloth or papers works fine so that do not make this item any less great would just be a commodity to have everything by it and not on a drawer or on top of the fridge so even though I have to set the pen somewhere else and find something to use to erase things (which is not going to be much, just the date once a week) this mat still the best!!

I love this chore chart! The magnetic grip on it is pretty amazing. I also like the size of it - it's nice and big so it makes writing on it easy. Even my 4 & 7 year olds have enough room to write on it. They love being able to check off the chores each day. I bought extra chalk pens (through another company on Amazon) because one of them that came with the chart stopped working pretty quickly....most likely from one of my boys abusing it. I highly recommend this product!

So adorable and practical!! I wanted a magnetic meal planning board that wasn’t a heavy traditional dry erase board - those always get knocked off of my fridge and end up breaking. I love that it isn’t white and doesn’t get smeary. It’s also very large and easy to fit my giant writing on! The chalk markers are nice too! Be patient with them the first time you write with them; the liquid chalk takes time to reach the tip. The white is a little faint, but still works well!

Hi. I recently received my order on 9/2/19 (ok, 11 days ago). I just opened it this morning (9/13). The mint green chore chart surface has scratches. They are not deep scratches but they are noticeable when we run our fingers over them. You can visually see the scratches, too. I wonder if those scratches will eventually collect color from the liquid chalk and start to look messy. For the price, I would prefer a replacement if this is going to happen. We intend on using them for a long time. The menu we purchased is very smooth with no scratches, but sustained some indentations during shipping. This, however, does not bother me. The grey chore chart is also smooth (no scratches) with only a slightly bent corner that probably happened during shipping. Let's remedy the mint green chore chart. Thank you.

This chore chart is perfect for my kids. It gives them a visual to see what chores need to be done and what they've accomplished so far. It has both daily and weekly chores. The spaces are blank for you to fill in whatever chores you want. I've also included a line for good listening and good attitudes. It also gives you a place to tally up the points for chores and write out what the reward for completing chores is as a visual reminder to your children. I did not find the markers that come with it to be very good but regular expo markers work on it as well. It sticks well to my fridge as well.

The chore chart is perfect for my 2 elementary age kids. It gets them excited to get things done around the house daily and weekly and the rewards can change as I see fit. And I love the fact that it came with 2 pens. However, one is white and will not show on the white board. Just didn’t make sense to not send 2 colors when the chart isn’t a blackboard.

Item exactly as described, came earlier then estimated date, great quality, and kids see their chores and its actually getting done without harping! 10/10!!

My kids use this chart every day for chores. It’s easy to use and I love that it just sticks to the fridge. The markers are easy to use and wipe off at the end of the week.
