This is the best underwear I have ever owned!! I hate 100% cotton underwear because of the way clothes cling to it. These are soft with a little stretch and are smooth underneath clothes. The high cut leg fits wonderfully and is so comfortable. As long as these continue to be made, I'll never buy anything else

I wear size 18W jeans and usually buy undies in a size 9, so I thought these 10s would be huge, but they fit surprisingly well. They looked like granny panties when I first opened the package and held them up, but I was surprised. When you put them on they transform into a pretty nice looking pair of full-cut, bikini style underwear. By that, I mean they cover your butt & don't ride up into places they shouldn't, but at the same time, the sides are cut reasonably high, so you don't feel like a dumpy old lady when you're wearing them. They are smooth & seem well made. The fabric is good for sweaty climates and also for really cold days when you don't want any cotton clothing. In Colorado, we experience both of these climates... sometimes on the same day, so these will come in handy. Also, the colors are not hideous. Having been burned by 'not as pictured' items in the past, I'm glad to report I got the set that is actually pictured in the advertisement: black, grey, navy, lilac, white.

About the only thing I don't like about these panties is the colors --- what you see is NOT what you get! (Which is why I couldn't give them a 5-star rating). That being said, what I DO like about them is the the fabric and the workmanship and the fit. The fabric is almost like a "microfabric" -- soft, comfortable, lightweight, cool (I live in the Sonoran Desert in the Southwest U.S. it gets over 100 here plenty), The workmanship is excellent. And I do mean excellent. There is no fraying of the seams. The elastic "fits" the fabic, that is - it's not too tight and not too lose, but actually sewn with just the right amount of tension, with a double row of stitching on the waistband. There is no label sewn into the waisband but rather, it is stamped directly onto the fabric which adds to the comfort (and smoothness of the line). Finally, the size is right. I am 5'7." I weigh 200 lbs and wear a size 16 dress. I have large hips and thighs -- (pear shape) and I wear a high cut panty so as not to have a panty line right at the "thickest" part of my thigh. These fit perfect for that expectation -- AND they cover my bum without being too short in the waist. They also do not "ride up." In otherwords, there is ample room in the cut of the derrier-to-waist ratio as well as in the hip circumferance. All the seams are smooth and -- I guess the best thing I can say about them is you would almost think they were made in the U.S.A! No matter, ordered them once and liked them so much, I ordered a second pack. This, after having returned a pack of panties made by another manufacturer with seams so frayed they didn't look like they would hold together for one washing. If you want a good basic, no frills, (what I call "every day") panty - I highly recommend these. They look like they will wear and wash forever! (BTW, the crotch is the same fabric as the panty - although there is a "double layer of fabric" it is not a cotton crotch. Some people care about that so I thought I would mention it.)

Been hard to find these anymore. Thankful found on Amazon.Can't find these in stores anymore or FOTL website as assuming discontinued. They are truly like nylon material undies grew up with as child.

Fruit of the Loom Microfiber high cuts are my favorite. Haven't been able to find them in plus size for awhile, but here they are at AMAZON!!

I love these panties. They fit great and don't sag after use. They wash well and dry fast. Plus they don't ride up either. These are the best everyday wear panties I have owned. True, they are not sexy, but not looking for sexy going to work, chasing kids and running errands. Great everyday buy for use plus size girls. Plan to buy more. Good price and shipment was fast!

UPDATE 11/29/2015: SKIP THIS PURCHASE. All 5 pr. of these underwear have now come out of the washing machine in pieces, totally mangled and ruined. I think 2 pair survived beyond the 3rd washing and none beyond the 5th wash. Unless you have time to hand wash and lay flat to dry, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I don't have that kind of time in my life. If they can't go in the washer and dryer, I'm not interested._________________________ORIGINAL REVIEW:I am divided as to what to write in this review. I loved these Hi-cuts. They fit well, they don't ride up, the colors are nice and they are comfortable. This is saying a lot for a woman who wore the same brand and style of underwear for 20 yrs before FINALLY moving to these--but there is a HUGE problem with these underwear--2 problems actually--and other reviews have warned of both. First, the cotton panel in the bottom was obviously designed by someone who has never WORN this item. The cotton panel needs to be moved forward or lengthened 3-4 inches toward the front of the body. There are ways to work around that--ladies--you'll know what that means, but that brings me to the second item. The second problem takes these 5 star Hi-cuts down to 2 stars and that is being generous....they DO NOT HOLD UP IN THE WASH. The first time I washed them, 1 pair, the turquoise solid, came out of the waster (cold water, hand wash cycle, no agitator in my washer, very low spin, nothing but panties in the load that was washed) with blue thread all over the place and the waistband completely separated from the body of the panty. The next time I washed these items again, a black pair came out with 1/2 the waistband separated from the body of the panty. We are talking about the first and second time these panties were ever washed. If they are falling apart under these conditions, they will not last a month. THAT IS A HUGE QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM. Even though I love the material and the fit, I cannot recommend them. Its a waste of your money until they do something about the washability of these Hi-Cuts. I LOVE these!! They are so comfortable. The fabric feels wonderful and the fit is perfect.

Very nice, I am a big girl, and these fit me great. The fabric is quite thin, so I doubt these will last for years and years, but it's nice and silky, yet stretchy.

These undies are so comfortable...it like I'm wearing nothing! Silky smooth, and perfect fit!
