LimbSaver Tentacle Wrap, Black

Bought this in 2016 for my bear cruiser since my handle was so thin and uncomfortable. It did exactly what I wanted. After retiring that bow, I was able to move the wrap to my new bow. It has never come off or caused any issues. Great product, would buy again.

I should really wait to post this and if I'm wrong, I'll edit it tomorrow. I was ready to return this product and even had the label ready. Then I got a new bow that has a huge, cold handle and I had a thought... turned it over and wrapped it smooth outside out, super tight. It feels incredible and you can carefully wrap/mold it to put your hand in an exact position and it's incredibly comfortable. I hated the octopus feeling of the way this product was intended, but the other way around, it feels like Oakley's Unobtanium stuff that gets stickier as you sweat. And, I'm just guessing but it seems the shock absorption would work better with the tentacles on the inside anyway. I'll report back tomorrow after I can test it a bit.

Too bulky and the textured nibs uncomfortable. It does seem to grip the bow well though if carefully installed. I have a custom grip on my Olympic recurve and just needed a nonslip surface. So I kind of expected this might add bulk...it added a lot though...a whole lot. The traditional archers didnt care for it as they 'want the bow to be able to twist to all angles freely in their hand'. I am going to try it though and will update in a month or so if it works out ok. It's not a bad product by any means...provides a grippy but nonsticky surface and cushion, but keep in mind that if you are concerned about that bulk, you will probably be right and less than satisfied. Too me it subtracts from the rating significantly.

This is a great product. I have a Bear Authority and like most Bear bows, the grip is practically non existent. This beef'd up the grip pretty well and gives you a nice purchase on the bow. in additon it cuts down on hand shock. This one isn't very long however. There is another posting by limb-saver that gives you the option of 16 or 24 in as well as other colors for a few more $$. this one seemed to be the 16 in but that was end to end including the skinny parts on the end. Length was good for a bow grip but anything longer might need the next size up. All in all worked great

Needed a secure comfortable grip on my compound so I bought one of these 3 years ago. I have BIG hands and my bow's grip is so small. Yesterday I wrapped a second limbsaver over the first one and got it fat enough to let my bow hand relax and my shots got MUCH better, pin drifted a LOT less and after the daily 60 + arrows my bow hand isn't cramping. I just wish I could buy a Limbsaver two or three times as long.

Works perfectly for my bow handle grip. Used it inside out as I didn't like the feeling of the knobs outwards. Stretches nicely, doesn't move around at all once wrapped and secured and very comfortable to hold onto.

I was a little leery about the installation procedure where it said to wrap the end under the last wrap. I thought it would come loose but it doesn't. This grip adds a lot to my bow handle. The purchase is now great, you don't think about it I guess but the handle is the only connection you have to the whole bow so improving that made the whole thing feel new. I don't know if it's improved my groups any but it is more fun to shoot now for sure. Highly recommend!

I've used this for so many purposes already -- any place where I need a good grip. One of those items you never realized how much you needed until you had one. Since it's a wrap rather than a fixed band, and is self-adhesive, you can use it for grip on nearly any tool, or even larger pieces. I originally actually bought it as insulation on wrenches while working on auto batteries, and it's great for that, but I've used it more often as a gripper.
