I bought this beach umbrella considering price and aesthetics. I personally liked this a lot for my ocasional beach visit but the first time i used it, it broke at the bottom. I was really surprised as it has good reviews.I was pretty mad at that point and was going to leave a bad review. Instead, I decided to request a refund or replace items and the brand sent me another one no charge. I work in Amazon Marketing, so I understand how it all works. I also understand, it could have simply been a defective item, so before writing anything I'm giving it a second chance.Customer service goes a long way with people and you can turn a frown upside down just by valuing your customers. I got a second one and all good, that's why I'm leaving a 4 star review on it.

I buy these every year, work great does what i want for the money but only last one season.

Love the lightweight and versatility of this umbrella. I actually use it with my little patio bistro table. It would lift and blow away in too much breeze/wind-but they all do. Very pleased with this umbrella-even if I’m not at the beach. The lightweight makes it so versatile to put up and down, stow, whatever.

the post/pole is only 7/8 inch, that is way below standard for beach umbrellas. i intended to use clamped to my table on my deck but due to the very small pole diameter, it does not withstand any small wind gusts and bends so much it will snap, so forget the beach (which is even more windier). As for the canopy, it's great - has large vent with big slits (better than other brands) which is great for wind gusts but that's useless with such a thin weak pole. My bag had poor stitching and a possible tag missing.Also to add, I bought a 6.5 ft umbrella but when it opens, it's under 69 inches diameter (that's under 6 feet) so either I got sent wrong item or the dimensions are listed incorrectly.

If you're going to the beach, this is great for the price. Since I am not a pro beach goer, it worked perfect
