These spline bit sockets are very heavy duty, even though they don't appear to be impact-rated. Or rather, they are very heavy in weight. The spline bits themselves may handle impact, but the sockets likely will not. So don't use these on an impact gun. But with the long reach on them, and a properly sized ratchet, you should be able to get plenty of torque on whatever you're trying to turn.Though these seem fantastic, and also seem quite strong, I'm dropping a star off my review of them because I think it would have been better done to have the socket section to be of the same hardened steel as the bits, and be impact-rated. Even if you're not going to use these on an impact gun, the higher strength of the socket itself will just reduce the chances of it splitting. The point of failure of these will likely always be where the bit attaches to the socket, and will go flying if the socket splits under high torque.

Some of the bits have too high of centers on them, which will effect how good that they will grip the thing that they are used on.. If you were going into a screw that the head is 3/8" deep, then this probably will not hurt too much.. But, the little flap of meal on the end.. The cup part above the triple square part.. Some of the pieces have about 1/8" of space where it is not gripping anything much, if at all.. That is too much.. I have compared these to other decent brands, and none of the good brands that I have seen have this much extra on the tip.. With that being said, I am going to have to grind down the tip of about half of the pieces to make them fit good..I have not used mine on anything really tight, where I could give them a good torque test yet, so I can not comment about their durability.. But I do know that they need better QC to make sure that the tip ends are made right and are uniform between all of the pieces.. That is why I dropped one star.. I will update if they do not hold up, but to be honest, since these are mainly used on cars from over seas, I do not expect to be using them too much since I have a dodge and it will be mainly be used helping friends fix their vehicles..

They surpass internal hex head, 6-sided, and 5-sided Torx fasteners in torque performance.While these sockets might not match the strength of professional-grade tools like Snap-on or MAC, they are more than adequate for most tasks. Interestingly, they are priced significantly lower than a single socket from those premium brands.Overall, I recommend this set for anyone who needs to service German cars at home. It delivers exceptional quality, resilience, and excellent value for money.

The first XZN set I bought probably a decade ago cost almost $100....and within a few car projects, a couple of the bits had broken (the chrome part "spun" on the hardened steel shaft).Two big upsides of this set:1. Length. Particularly when doing the inner CV axle bolts on a VW, you have to work around the rubber CV boot and with a short shaft, the circumference of the chrome socket attachment makes it challenging (annoyingly so) to get the bit squarely seated in the bolt. The length of these gets past the fat part of the CV boot, making it pretty easy to get at the bolts properly.2. The socket sizes are "right". My set has everything under M10 being ¼" drive, which is just way too small for driving a 50Nm bolt.½" drive for the M16 and M18 is perfect.⅜" drive for the M8, M9, M10, M12, M14¼" drive for the junior-sized ones (M4, M5, M6)Put the big M18 on the axle bolt for a VW, torque spec of 200Nm + 180° rotation (requires a 4ft. breaker bar to get the last 100° for me, even jumping up and down on the 30" bar didn't move it nearly enough). Anyway, it did the job. So, strong enough for me.Thumbs up all the way around.
