Does the trick
I am a new homeowner, inexperienced and DIY determined. I had a mostly buried and clogged drain pipe on the property and once I located it, I wanted to make sure that in the future, it wasA) visibleB) accessibleC) protectedD) passableE) attractiveThis grate was able to solve all of those wishes! In fact, it worked perfectly and more than exceeded my expectations. I'm happy it's iron not plastic and so generously sized. It covers the hole I over-dug. I'm so relieved to have a proper, marked drain. It keeps the unsightly plastic pipe end accounted for, yet out of sight and safe. And, since I dug a little rock- filled trench before placing it, it now eliminates clogs and flooding. Mine will look better when the grass grows back, I'm sure that with your better experience you will be able to do even a better job with this grate than I. It's just so awesome that I was able to use this grate to make such a big improvement. Thank you so much!
