Great tomato shark to take the tops off tomatoes :) Easy grip handle. The metal scoop cleans easily. Not much else to say :)

How can a company, so entrenched in the food service industry, fail to design a tomato corer strong enough to stand up to the single job it is tasked with? After a couple of tomatoes the metal bent where it meets the handle. It bent so easily that I laughed. And so I have become accustomed to supporting the "neck" with my index finger while using it to keep it from snapping off. If your hand is too large to hold a traditional style tomato corer, AND your tomatoes are so ripe you could just squish the core off, then this tool is for you. Otherwise, purchase with the understanding that it is poorly designed and will fail sooner than later.

Was excited at the design and my general trust in the manufacture. However it's really weak and bends after even the softest tomato. Tried to return but Big Kitchen will not take it back used. You also have to pay to ship it back and they deduct shipping from the return even if it was free shipping. Definitely just wasted money.

So far, I have used it for larger strawberries and small tomatoes and like it just fine. II haven't had it too long, so I can't comment on durability, but it has survived the dishwasher with no problem. Plan to use it for removing eyes from potatoes when necessary and other appropriate jobs as they come up.Shipping was timely

I used to use one of these at a restaurant I worked at in high school. I've recently been making a lot of fresh tomato sauce and salsa and this is an indispensable tool if you're prepping a lot of tomatoes. Rubber handle is very comfy.

it arrived one early and what is not to like with this ergonomic designed product. I want the hole in the handle so that I can hang it on a hook along with my other small utensils. that makes it easy to find and lost in a drawer somewhere.

In short, this thing sucks. Long story: I've used Messermeister knives in the past, and I know them to be real workhorse knives: Sharp, durable, easy to handle. I thought their gadgets would be the same. Not so for this one at least. The offset head makes it difficult to get into the tomato, and the long teeth and thick metal make it even more difficult to get the core out in one piece. Even after I flattened out the offset, it was awkward and tough to use. The soft grip handle is useless as I had to choke up on it so much as to keep the head from bending due to the amount of force I needed to actually get the thing to bite in. I'd have been much better off getting those dinky 3-for-$10 cheap WinCo sharks than this one.

Garbage. The metal bent the first time I used it. It’s not like I could go around and order another one as I work in another province than where I live. Very disappointing I thought I was purchasing a quality item useless it’s now in the garbage. Now because of being stuck having to core with a knife again I won’t be purchasing anything from the store I can’t risk not having the necessary items required as a cook so far from home
