It's better than the original Blendtec jar, surprisingly. It's larger, and my husband doesn't have to increase the speed as much to mix his morning smoothie. He used to go to 7, but only needs to go to 3. Very happy!

This is not an OEM BlendTec product and does not seat properly on the BlendTec blender motor. The bottom of this wildside jar is different than the OEM jar and doesn't allow the plastic base to sit flush with the blender base. Yes, it works, but it wobbles and you have to hold it when using. Do NOT buy this product. I would return it but the box already got recycled.

Fits right

Black rubber Top leaks at high speed if you do liquids. Knifes are improved and superb (better than original by blendtec), do better job, but produce more heat and stronger uprising force that makes top cover to leak at 2 high speed positions. Original rubber top leaks as well with this pitcher ( blendtec pitcher design is not the best)Manufacturer should redesign the top, copy top from new Vitamix blender. Newest Vitamix large pitcher has clever rubber top design that locks well by snapping into a pitcher curve, that prevents leaking. Also Pay attention to a center hole cover, that leaks as well at high speeds.

Let me start with this: $140 for a genuine Blendtec wildside jar is ludicrous. But after dropping $50 on this knockoff I’m considering returning it and getting the real thing.First it does not sit snug on the blender base. You have to hold it while it runs or it wobbles and looks like it will fall off and make a mess, and wear on the blender nut (it’s called a nut, right?)Second the lid is garbage, throw it away immediately and use the lid from the real blendtec jar you are replacing. It doesn’t seal or doesn’t vent well.$140 for the real thing is a lot, but the previous blendtec wildside jar lasted nearly a decade and thousands of uses. I have zero confidence this will last long at all.Disappointed.

Worked nicely for a whileAfter 10 month it’s already rusted, cracked and leaking

I have used this over the last few months just to get an idea of how good it is. Is it a perfect replacement. No. Is is an adequate replacement for what you pay. Definitely yes.

This blender cup fits perfect and tge top it came with is much better than the one that came with the blender when we bought it 10/10 will purchase again
