The RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer 2 Outlet, Water Timer for Garden Hose, Programmable Drip Irrigation Timer for Yard Outdoor Watering, Rain Delay/Manual/Automatic System Controller 2.5" LCD, V2, 2023 Release model ITV205 works as expected. It is well made, the display is easy to read and the plastic material seems to be durable. It was easy to setup the unit following the user manual and so far I have not experienced any leaks. Just make sure to use 1.5V batteries, this programmable timer does not work properly using 1,2V rechargeable batteries. Also, do not program both outlets to work at the same time or the water pressure will drop drastically. I am happy with this product.

Had an issue with the timer under warranty as it would not shut completely off. Contacted Rainpoint customer service for advice. Customer service rep promptly suggested some fixes but the problem remained. Not only was the unit replaced but a follow-up inquiry was sent to me to make sure the replace unit operated properly. The responses from the company were always very prompt and appeared to be sent by the same customer service rep (hard to know these days), but nevertheless, it was great customer service. As an aside - initial programming is not as straight forward as those units with a digital readout but it is nice and compact and works well after it is set up.

Loved the easy set up right out of the box in less than 5 minutes. Easy to understand instructions. Great quality product for a reasonable price. Works excellently, just as advertised.

This 2 valve automatic watering system is so easy to set up that I didn't even need to look at the directions. Just turn the dial and press the + or - button to set the clock, watering time, duration, and frequency. This is my fifth or sixth of this type of product. It is really important to remove it before it gets cold enough to freeze. Otherwise, it will crack and be useless. I had a previous one by the same manufacturer that stopped working after a month because water leaked into the battery compartment and then into the component itself causing the interior wires to rust and break at the connection. I noticed the same seal is on this one's battery compartment, so I have propped it up on a rock so that it is higher than the soaker hoses going off of it and the water hose going into it. I am also thinking of applying some silicone caulk around the battery compartment for extra protection. I will update my review if necessary. So far, it is working as described.
