I have been using the Solar swimming pool purifier / Solar ionizer for nine days and it is working great. It has only about two weeks I took the baskets off to clean off the inside of the basket their was a lot of buildup in the bottom of the baskets. I think that means it is working I do know my pool water is clear and looking great so far. I am happy

This is arguably the best thing I've bought for my pool. About 6 weeks ago, my pool looked fine. So, I put the solar cover on and and went out of town for the weekend. I came home to find a full algae bloom and a green pool. So, I shocked, and shocked and shocked some more. I put in algaecide and clarifier. And, finally it got back to normal after at least fifty dollars worth of chemicals.Not wanting that to happen again (as that wasn't the first time) and usually seeing a little algae when I got behind on my shock, I decided to purchase this.Since then, absolutely no algae. The pool is crystal clear. I haven't used any algaecide or clarifier. In fact, I constantly need to remind myself to shock the pool because it's become so low maintenance.My only concern is copper toxicity. So, I'm getting my numbers checked at the pool store. I'll let you know if anything changes.So, for anyone with a recurrent algae problem, give this a try. It's been working wonders for me.

This is the highest rating I have ever given any product. Regardless of the chlorine savings, I had chronic algae as I am in a forested location close to wetlands. I was usually at Leslie once every week, wire brushing my Gunite every couple days, keeping chlorine at high levels, nothing helped. Within two weeks of using the ionizer I haven’t seen any green spots in 6 weeks with my water over 80 degrees. It has been incredible. Leslie doesn’t carry or speak of this product because if everybody had it, they would be out of business. I haven’t been in there in almost 2 months. I don’t need to schock any more, I just just dissolve 6 chlorine pucks per week in a 45k gallon pool. Game changer!

I purchased this product in early May. However we did not actually put it in our pool until the first week in June. I live in upstate New York. Our summers run from June through August. We open our pool on Memorial Day weekend and close on Labor Day weekend. I was very happy with the ionizer and saw great improvement in my pool water and we had no algae problem like in the past. Upon getting ready to close my pool I find the ionizer is full of water. Somehow water has seeped in. I did not notice this prior when cleaning the coils. I wrote to the company and was told the warranty only cover 90 days. I explained to them that I only used it from 05/26/18 through 08/25/18. Just three months exactly. The best they can do is send me another unit for $65. I don't feel that is right. I used the thing for three months and it obviously was defective or it wouldn't be full of water. I can't get the water out and it probably will get ruined sitting with water in it until next summer. I give customer service a big fat zero and will not buy from them again.

After being in use for a month the copper level is unchanged at 1 ppm. Pool chemistry has been ideal throughout. The pool is 30,000 gal. and should be a slam dunk for this unit.

Broke after one season . Over priced piece of plastic. What a gimmick.

It really does work! Not quickly tho keep using chemicals algaecide not needed

Absolute waisting money, after one season of use , completely destroyed .Full of water inside.IF SELLER STILL EXIST , BETER SEND ME REPLACEMENT.
