Simply a great game
I've had this game for a while now (both PS5 and XBOX) and it is one of the very few games I've earned a platinum trophy for. I'm not really a Dark Souls fan as I find the difficulty and repetition leads me to lose interest quickly. Elden Ring is different and has kept me interested in playing due to the amount of things to do, the open world with lots of places to explore and secrets to find. If I struggled to defeat a boss, I could just go somewhere else, fight a different boss and have some fun instead of beating my head against a wall and eventually getting bored. I think this is what has made ER so popular. I love the boss design overall in terms of how they look and move. I will say that I was a bit disappointed with the final SOTE boss and ending. It felt like they ran out of steam. I didn't realise it was the final boss at first, just noticed the huge difficulty spike. There are ways to make the final boss more manageable to fight, but you need to complete some NPC quests and they aren't obvious without a guide. I wish I new this during my first play through. It is easy to miss out on a load of content if you just follow the main path. It is well worth taking your time, exploring and finding out how to get to the optional areas as I think some of the optional bosses are better than the final boss. I've had very few technical issues. There are some Frame rate issues, but not too bad, there's some lag in the controller input (I think this is a controller issue as I see this with many games), which makes timing parries and rolls difficult, but you kind of get used to it. My biggest issue is with the broken lock-on system. I've had several issues where the game decides to lock onto any other distant enemy (crab, dragon fly) instead of the big humongous boss standing right in front of you. The other issue is ofren it will spin you 180 degrees instead of locking onto the enemy in front of you. I really wish they would fix this as it can be very frustrating at times. Despite the e minor technical issues, I think this game provides huge value for money. There's over a hundred hours of content (more if you play through more than once experimenting with different character builds). It is rare these days that you get a complete game in the box without having to buy the rest of the game through microtransactions. The SOTE DLC almost feels like a complete game by itself it is that big. Well worth the purchase price.

**10/10! PERFECT, Unique, Distinctive, Incredible Game; Rich Lore, Improved Mechanics; a MUST-HAVE**
This game is, by far, one of the best & most popular games in the world lately!! An extremely strong contender as one of the best Soulsborne games from the amazing developer: 'FromSoftware' that are the inventors of the 'Soulsborne' genre and laid the foundations for other developers to follow in their footsteps and attempt to create similar games under the same conceptual rules that make up the sub-genre variant that we now know as 'Soulslike' - the difference being that 'Soulsborne' are games from the grandfather, the birth-giver of the genre (FromSoftware) and 'Soulslike' are referred to other developers that adhere to the specific ingredients that ultimately create the similar aspects and foundations of these Hardcore RPG game mechanics that produce a distinctive experience... This is an exceptional instalment to the Soulsborne era that has been ushered in - it has received overwhelming support, ratings & sales; an incredibly immersive game-scape with it's unique aesthetic and rich lore deeply embedded into it's core (George R.R Mertin had a major role in creating the lore) - a truly unrivalled experience that will forever leave an unforgettable mark on your psyche!.. I can not begin to explain the fine details that this game consists of and without spoiling it - it is an aspect that you MUST experience for yourself; you will be challenged, it will be hard, but oh boy, is it rewarding!!! You will be amazed at how lush, crisp & sharp the graphics are (+ great rendering) and with it's insanely vast array of a plethora (and I mean an absolute MYRIAD) of different: weapons/armaments, armour, equipment, consumables, secrets, bosses, quests, storylines, enemies, areas, etc... you will never get bored of it! You can literally spend months & months just exploring the [free roam] map/s with a colossal amount of places/things to find and never-ending things to do, it is a gift that keeps on giving! They have re-introduced certain combat mechanics that were abolished in Dark Souls 3 (like off-hand unique move-sets and other mechanics) + made it easier to traverse the increasingly large landscape/s with the use of your trusty steed: 'Torrent'. 'Weapon Arts' are now 'Ashes of War' and you have much more diversity & freedom to customise each Armament you wish! You 'feel' less restricted/clanky when it comes to combat & movement as you have more control + greater versatility & variety in every aspect! A real improvement. Genuinely an ICONIC gaming experience! It is a BIG step-up for an already thriving community that has now seen the biggest, most successful game yet!! Outstanding performance! This game boasts an incredible increase in the lore/stories, with better clarity + crazy cutscenes & graphics that leave you stunned & excited! Awe-inspiring! (In previous Souls games, the total time spent in every of the game's cutscenes were around 45 minutes - Elden Ring has over 2 hours-worth!!). The first thing you notice once first delving into the main map is that, it is MASSIVE and more OPENWORLD/free roam than any of the other Souls games! You have a greater sense of freedom when travelling & exploring this world and some of the views are breath-takingly gorgeous! There is a serious amount of BEAUTIFUL art & craftsmanship that has gone into the development of this game; it is a true gem! I HIGHLY recommend this game, no question about it - if you haven't already purchased this game, you have been missing out! You need to get this, there is nothing to think about! There are PvP + Co-op elements, like any other Souls game, but mainly is a single player - you are not required to play online so that is not an issue for those of whom wish to solo the game without an internet connection! The best thing about purchasing this version is that it INCLUDES the DLC (Shadow of the Erdtree) that, in itself, is a spectacular piece of expert development! I, personally, had to re-purchase this game as my copy was 'damaged' beyond repair and I was so happy that I found this, at such a cheap price, which includes the full DLC... so shocked & surprised at this fantastic bargain!!! This [Elden Ring] + the second, newer instalment, Elden Ring Nightreign (which is a Roguelike version of the original) are easily the best games on the market, with it's UNLIMITED gameplay - you will become addicted and spend a serious amount of time, deeply invested & immersed in this game world!

No difficulty Level
It’s ok. Not as mesmerised as some that have played it. Again, there is no difficulty level and found game play sometimes to intense for me.

Masterpiece of a game was a little nervous about activating a DLC code from a different country but thankfully it still worked.
