These are sturdy cases that look just like the originals. I sometimes buy used CD's that come in broken or badly scratched up cases. Using these helps me clean up my collection.

Poor Quality

I have a large CD collection and still pick up used ones when I can find them at Thrift stores and garage sales. Many times the cases are broken and need to be replaced.Jewel cases are fragile and finding replacements has gotten harder with CDs no longer popular. This set of six replacement cases are the correct size and made of the same type of plastic as the original cases. I was easily able to remove my CD inserts and disc from the old broken case and transfer it to this new one and everything fit perfectly. It holds the back insert, the booklet and the disc just like the original case.The center hubs on the cases I received are slightly different from the picture on Amazon, but I actually preferred them. They hold the disc securely, but it is still easy to remove. The hub also has some reinforcement to the plastic so the hub won't break apart as easily as the old style.I only have a single downside. At the time of purchase the cost of six cases was a bit over $2 a case. Whether this cost seems worth it is really up to your need for replacements. I think I would feel a bit better about the cost if you got 10-12 for the price. However, I have no complaints about the cases themselves and I am very happy with the quality.
