easy to install and setup, good bandwidth performance
I'm a network tech and this was by far the easiest AP unit to installThis AP has a DHCP server and a good full set of network management toolsI wish this AP had an Ethernet out so that wired devices could also be clients to this device but I guess this is more of an AP than switch/routerThe Bluetooth connection to their app worked right away and allowed me to setup the APs very quicklyThe range is pretty good about two floors of coverage (AP is on 2nd floor) and on the 1st floor the wifi devices were getting about 80% of full rateThe Webtool GUI is useful as I can remotely monitor all the AP and troubleshoot, just like the phone appYou have to make an account which is pretty normal for everything now

AP32 is pretty good if you did your research.
Easy to install and set up. UI looks very polished. My only gripe is that it takes around 5 minutes to boot up, which isn't an issue if you have a POE switch hooked up to a UPS. I feel like having only 2 of the 3 available bands isn't a big issue either since the target demographic will buy multiple APs which would cover all of the available bands. Roaming between 3 of these APs have been seamless and the bandwidth limit has been very useful for low priority SSIDs. Please do research before purchasing networking equipment or else you may be disappointed. I think this AP does its job well and seems to be reliable enough to support medium sized businesses.

Powerful WiFi, But Not for Your Average Home
The HPE Networking Instant On AP32 is a compact powerhouse, perfect for handling heavy traffic and the latest bandwidth-hungry devices. It's clearly designed for businesses, though you could technically use it at home if you really wanted to. It fits seamlessly into an existing Instant On network, which is a plus for businesses already using HPE gear.I was surprised by how small it is! It doesn't come with a power adapter, but you can power it with a PoE+ switch or a standard 12V/1A DC adapter (I had to dig one out of my spares). It's surprisingly heavy for its size and feels well-built. The back seems to be made of some kind of metal alloy, probably aluminum, which helps keep it cool even under load. My other access points get way hotter! It also includes a handy mounting bracket for easy installation.Performance-wise, this thing is a beast. My 1.2 Gbit internet connection is actually the limiting factor now! If you have a ton of users or need to support the latest WiFi 6E devices, this AP will handle it with ease. The web interface is fantastic - it's packed with network management features, yet it's still easy to navigate. However, there's a catch: you can only have two of the three available frequency bands active at once. This means you can't use the super-fast 6 GHz band alongside both 2.4 GHz (for range) and 5 GHz (for older devices). It's a bit of a bummer, but it's something to consider depending on your needs.Overall, the HPE Networking Instant On AP32 is a fantastic choice for businesses or anyone who needs to upgrade their WiFi to handle lots of devices and high bandwidth demands. For home use, though, it's probably overkill – unless you're running a serious home office or have a very demanding smart home setup.---Product: HPE Networking Instant On Access Point AP32 2x2 WiFi 6E Indoor Wireless Access Point | Secure, Tri-Band, Future Ready | Power Source Not Included | US Model (S1T22A) (Power Adapter Not Included)ASIN: B0CRXGR2ZS

channel width of 160 Mkz and it does not have it in 5Ghz
The product is very bad, I just bought the AP32 because it required 5Ghz Wi-Fi with a channel width of 160 Mkz and it does not have it, it only works with 20/40/80 MHz

Great for a small subset of customer
I like this wireless access point but I don't think it'll be into full time use for my home network. It's been rock solid in my testing, the 6 GHz band has worked well on both an android phone and windows computer with connection link speeds above 1 Gbps in both directions. The cloud based control is incredibly handy for configuring this even when I'm away from the house and the amount of details shown is a lot more than a typical consumer router. However, the cloud control also comes with some downsides. HPE don't allow me to dynamically switch this between just an access point and a full router except when I'm configuring a new site. While that's not necessarily a bad thing, it does mean that if you change your mind and want to use this as a main router, you're starting over from square one. I'll admit a double NAT situation isn't ideal but for a guest network or an IoT network it's a useful means of isolating those devices somewhat. I'd like to be able to change that on the fly like I can on my old consumer grade router/APs.Another interesting choice is supporting three wireless bands (2.4 GHz, 5GHz, and 6 GHz) but only having radios for two of the bands active at a time. By default this comes as a WiFi 6 (2.4 and 5 GHz) only router and it took me a long time to figure out how to switch which radios were enabled and then to match that in my network's broadcast settings. For the quality of WiFi equipment packed inside, only supporting two bands at a time feels like an Achilles' heel level of unnecessary handicap. This is definitely a me thing but I also find their control website and app to be underwhelming. There's a lot of data, info, and settings all scattered about and less logically organized than I'd like. I'm sure I'd get used to it over time but the learning curve is steep in my opinion. So who is this for? I think this would be amazing for the techy adult wanting to easily manage their parents' WiFi without making a trek across town or country. I think this would also be a great system for a landlord with multiple rental locations as well. The WiFi tech in here is top notch and solid from what I can tell and the map based site selection on the web app would work brilliantly for multiple locations. For the home techy cosplaying as a network engineer (like me) I think this could make a ton of sense if you switch your entire system to Instant On and are okay with cloud only control (to be fair, I didn't plug in the USB console port so that might provide local control). For me, I much prefer local control of all my network parts and pieces and the performance for the price isn't there since I'm running my own custom router with pure AP only access points and local control. Oh yeah, and my APs all transmit on all the bands they support all the time. This is a fantastic access point with some questionable specification limitations but at the price, I'd say it's only appealing to a small subset of people.
