This works wonderful when trying to keep the heat off of your flowers or garden plants. Keeps the soil cooler during the extreme heat of summer.

Just received this today. I must say I was expecting something more sturdy. The mesh is plastic. Like trash bag plastic that has been put through a machine to cut holes in it. Maybe I didn’t read the description close enough. I thought this would be made of actual cloth type material like you put over the garden or over the trailer to keep debris from blowing out. The outer band is a fabric type band with grommets. That feels sturdy. I do not expect this to last the rest of the summer, but we’ll see. Very light. Wind should flow through easily. Bought this for the dog pen to give some afternoon shade. I’ll add another couple of pictures when it’s sunny in that area. Jury is still out on whether I would buy again.

Easy to lay over the top of my TX chicken coop garden. Perfect amount of sunlight for squash, tomatoes, cucumber and melons. It allows plenty of air circulation and rain easily moves through. Fasteners are easy to use and hold the cover down so no wind damage. It seems tough enough to use for many seasons.

My rhubarb patch gets way too much, too hot sun in the heat of summer. This year, I used one of the 6x12FT 55% Shade Cloth Sun Shade Net with Grommets to do a makeshift shelter for the rhubarb plants in the hottest part of summer. The plants are still getting plenty of sunshine, but not so much that it damages the plants. The grommets help secure the sunshade easily.

I chose this product because of the affordable price. It's surprising that it weighs practically nothing, so it was easy for me (70 yr old woman) to install with zip ties. I have no idea about durability since it's new to me.It does exactly what I bought it for and that is dappled shade for plants.

Ideal protection for early spring and late fall planting but I have begun using these excellent screens for the extreme heat in the Deep South. They are tough and have used others of the same brand for a few years. They are still in perfect condition. As my garden grows, I will buy more.

Worked well for shading our garden from triple digit weather. Prior to the shad cloth things were getting sunburned. It lasted the season, but did tear in places towards the end of the summer due to sun and wind. Worked as expected.
