The tea cup set came in a nice box with butterflies on it. Inside, the ceramic pieces were cushioned in styrofoam.SAUCER: instead of a plain, boring round plate, the saucer is in the shape of a leaf and is painted green. There isn't a divet for the cup to sit in like a true saucer, but I think haviing it this way allows it the plate to be more versatile.TEA CUP: the cup is in the shape of a flower with petals around the rim which are regularly scalloped, which may not render it the most comfortable of cups to drink from, but it's form over function when it comes to this cup. I thikn the bottom of the coup is painted with very pigmented colors and because of that, I would've preferred a more saturated flower instead of the pale pink.TEASPOON: the top of the spoon has a blue butterfly, which is the probably the one thing that wasn't the best executed but a nice idea.I have these plates that go so well with that you'd almost think they were a set.Overall, it's a lovely tea cup and I think it'd be better to hold sugar cubes and for decoration because it looks more like a statement piece than a functional cup, although it still could be.

Oh, what a lovely addition this tea cup made to my collection. It has three pieces – the saucer is constructed to replicate a leaf. This tiny “plate” can also be used to hold small appetizers, or candies as there is no indentation in the saucer. The tea cup holds an ample amount and it is simply stunning! A real conversation piece. It also comes with a ceramic and the tip of the spoon has a lovely and colorful butterfly.The cup arrived undamaged and was well packed and secure. The colors are subtle and I really am able to use it with most dinner setting pieces.I think this cup is just beautiful and I highly recommend it for you. It would be a welcomed gift if you have a tea drinker on your gift list.

I really love this teacup set - it's adorable! I tried to drink out of it, and while it's certainly possible, it feels awkward. The petals don't feel great on the lips, and the handle feels weird on the hands. If you don't mind that, this would be the perfect cup for a small serving of tea. I may end up displaying it somewhere if I don't use it often. It's too cute to hide in the cabinet!

This flower cup and leaf saucer are made out of a thicker ceramic than most cups. The petals on the flower cup do not seem as fragile as on other cups, this is a more durable ceramic. The cup comes with a pretty butterfly spoon. This cup is painted skillfuly.The cup is stunning, tea cup fans will be very pleased with this lovely purchase. Curio bound, this cup is a treasure.

The tea cup is an amazing piece of art. Everything fits perfectly together. I don't plan on drinking out of it, using it as a trinket dish.
