Continental Art CAC10183 Sun Metal Wind Chime

The item came wrapped in bubble wrap, which really doesn't do much for an item that is made out of such thin material. Obviously from storage and or shipping many of the pieces were bent. Also, the way it was laid into the bubble wrap, some of the pieces were entangled and difficult to get apart without bending it back into shape. The welds on the item, if that's what they are look very weak. There's no way that this will go outside, because it simply won't hold up to the winds in our area. The general look of the item is fanciful, but the color is not as vibrant as shown in the photograph. The colors on the metal are much more muted. We'll be handing this inside of the window, somewhat disappointing and maybe only worth less than 2/3's what we paid for it.

This is a nice enough hanging, but buyer beware: it's very thin metal and bends easily. Although wrapped well in bubble wrap, It arrived with some pieces bent; I straightened one tip with pliers, which ever so slightly caused the paint to peel. Other parts were easily bent back into place. Some painted areas are rough where the paint bubbled or the metal is rough, and the marble and star danglers on the left side are hung at rather awkward places. I suspect if exposed to the elements for too long, the paint will peel off the yellow face, as I've seen happen with another hanging. All in all, nice colors, looks good in front of my balcony and from afar, the flaws don't show.
