USB C to Magnetic 3 Charging Cable,Compatible with magsafe3 and Macbook2021-2024, 6.6FT, Midnight Black

I got this as a replacement for my MacBook cable. It came in a small box, no waste of any material. I plugged it in, it works. My mac has no idea it is not an official Apple cable. There is no real fancy way to review a cable. It Does The Thing.It does exactly what I need it to do, it works perfectly and as advertised. 5/5 perfect product.

This cable has a great price, is very flexible, comes in many lengths and charges my MacBooks quickly. I just wish the magnet was stronger and the connector stayed in place more securely. It’s too easy to tap the connector and realize two hours later that the device wasn’t charging, even though it appeared connected.

I use this charging cable with my 2023 Apple MacBook Air. It works just like the original OEM charging cable, except the magnet that holds the charger to my laptop is weaker than the OEM cable. This causes the charger to detach from the laptop with even small movements.Aside from the weaker magnet, everything else works just like the original. The light turns from orange to green when the laptop is fully charged. The cable has a braided nylon covering to protect it. The USB C connector slides smoothly into my charger. I haven't noticed any unusual warming at the magnetic connector while the laptop is charging. I've used this for about two months and have no issues besides the weaker magnet on this cable.

I have a 2022 MBP that I use for video editing. It comes in handy to have an extra charger cable and charger block. I tested this next to my original Apple charger and could not tell a difference. If you are looking for a spare or replacement this will be awesome for you. The vable does have a fabric feel to it and is a darker grey. These are the 2 main differences.

The cable is a perfect replacement for the one i lost. Plugs in and charges right up and no problems. Save the extra bucks apple wanted to charge. The lenght is about the same as the old one, I dodn't have the old one. but it reaches the couch, lol..

I've tried a lot of third party MagSafe 3 cables, and this is the least effective one I've tried. Visually, it looks identical to another aftermarket brand I tried that worked okay, so I was hoping this would be roughly equivalent - but the magnets in the connector don't work well at all, and even the slightest provocation causes it to get disconnected. Other cables at least snap back into place after getting knocked off, but this one just sits there askew at an angle until I manually fix it.Connecting the cable also isn't great: this doesn't really want to snap into the correct configuration, and I need to sort of prealign it before connecting it to the computer for it to go into place right.I can at least report that if you're using your laptop on a desk and it isn't moving, this cable does work properly to charge: the light on the side works in both orientations and charging seems like it's full speed. The braiding is also pretty nice. So functionally it's fine, other than the magnets.But the magnets are kind of the whole reason to use this instead of a standard USB-C cable. This one's really not good - the cable fell off onto the floor like three times while I was trying to type this review. There are other reasonably nice MagSafe 3 compatible cables out there - I recommend choosing a different brand.

This is a good quality cable but if you move your laptop around much it tends to get pulled loose. I will use in on my desk where it will not be moved around. I'm sure it will be fine there. 4 stars due to the weaker magnet connection.

First of all. It is fantastic that 3rd party Magsafe 3 charging cables are available. The Apple-branded cable is about $50 and this one is currently only $28. Paired with a charger that supports 140w, this will charge the same crazy fast speed as the one that came with your MacBook Pro. I had resigned to the idea that I'd have to use USB C cables to charge as I didn't want to spend $100 to outfit my other two offices. These are affordable enough that I now have four 3rd party Magsafe cables for everywhere I work with my MacBook.I do like the more stealthy color of this charger.The one place where this charger falls short of the original is that it is easier to disconnect. I'm not sure if the magnets are actually weaker or if it is just the longer connector. This cable is best used in a desktop location where you won't have to worry about it getting unplugged.Overall reasonably happy with the "Aioum Type C to Mags3 Magnetic Charging Cable, Suitable for Macbook2012-2023, 2M, Midnight Black".
