Supplements in the U.S. are largely an unregulated industry. The FDA doesn’t test for safety, efficacy, or regulate this market at all. You do not even know whether the supplements contain what they say they contain in the amounts that they claim. In fact, you hear about class action lawsuits against supplement manufacturers all the time because of this. It also doesn’t help that there are actual counterfeits being sold, especially on Amazon, too – I was a victim of this, by the way. So, my rating scheme of supplements are largely based on the following: 1) A star for supplements that are verified made in a certified GMP facility in the U.S. 2) A star for supplements from well established brands with well known presence on the Internet, i.e. a well built website with large Google search results from established companies. 3) A star for being independently lab tested with verified lab results as posted by the manufacturer. 4) Full 5 stars for supplements being tested and or certified by USP, or NSF, or ConsumerLabs for having good purity, and potency to the stated manufacturer labels. Or, if the supplement is also sold via CVS, which require all supplement manufacturers to be verified third party lab tested via USP, NSF, UL, or other verification and standards bodies. Negative stars for products in some extreme condition may be doled out: damaged products (broken seal, or broken capsules), expired products, products that are rancid (fish oil, etc…), and products that have been shown to not meet quality controls and standards as mentioned in 3). Also, if there are previous FDA warnings issued against the company and products, or pending civil lawsuits for poor products will result in 1 star ratings. My opinion on how it tastes, if I feel like it works, or what the scientific literature says about the supplement ingredients are irrelevant to the star ratings. It’s really up to your own discretion and research to figure out whether this supplement is worth using based on said research or my own opinions on it. With that said, here’s the rating and review for this supplement. Other than negative stars, I cannot delve into why this is a 4 star rating, as Amazon Vine keeps flagging my supplement reviews for inane reasons. And, I'm just going to give up on providing any meaningful review on supplements because of this. You will just need to look at what I posted above, look at my star rating, and figure it out yourself. As always, do your own Due Diligence when shopping for any product, but especially health and sports supplements. Before I begin this review, I will start by saying I've bought lots of Bulk Supplement products in the past. I used to use their Mg+ powder and add it to my smoothies every day. They do own their own NSF certified GMP facility, and you can look this up yourself. What they don't provide is 3rd party COA sheets on their products, and they've had a very iffy results in the past with various 3rd party independent testing labs. With that said, I will say that this sleep supplement didn't really work for me as compared to another one I've been taking. I've been struggling with some light insomnia, ever since DST, and this hasn't has had no noticeable effect. Regardless, this is my rating on the supplement: Other than negative stars, I cannot delve into why this is a 3 star rating, as Amazon Vine keeps flagging my supplement reviews for inane reasons. The Answer to Good Sleep ?
I got this because I like all the ingredients in this for better sleep possibly for me. I just recently had a sleep supplement very close to this one but it had St. John's Wort in it which did not mix well with a MOAB inhibitor I take. So I was happy to see this blend and it not having that ingredient. I have found with supplement ingredients we all respond differently, if any at all. But for me these are the ingredients that do well with me in regards to sleep. The chamomile makes me slowly comfortably tired. The passion flower helps me stay sleepy. The melatonin makes me sleepy faster but I use 30 mgs of that. Interestingly this has just 4 mgs of melatonin in it !? And finally the GABA helps my mind quit thinking so much .Now with the skullcap I suppose that could help especially if there is pain of some sort as it is used a lot to lessen pain from my understanding. The Tryptophan converts to serotonin the happy chemical. The glycine in this may elevate even more serotonin. And this is my first time seeing Niacin in a sleep aid which to my surprise supposedly activates benzodiazepine receptors. These also may increase serotonin ! A whole bunch of happiness in this blend if you ask me ! As for the hops I guess it's like when you drink beer and get drowsy. One thing I wanna point out that I really like about this brand is that it's just one cap. And that may be why some of the dosages are small and strange looking like the melatonin and the the Niacin. There was only so much they could squeeze in one cap. This does not appear to be 'third' party lab tested which is the norm for sleep supplements but it does state the ingredients were rigorously lab tested. So the big question is how did this blend do as far as being my personal "sleep answer' !? Well first off I found for me two caps worked the best but not a huge difference from just 1 cap. Anything over 2 caps was just a waste IMO. No difference. For getting me sleepy I give it 3 out of 5. For causing me to actually go to sleep I give it 1 out of 5. For helping me stay asleep I give it 5 out of 5 ( would give 10). So while not the perfect answer I still think it's a pretty good one. Good Luck and I hope this was helpful.

Did not work for me
I tried these for a month now but I get to sleep faster and sleep longer (at least 4 hours) using a stronger dose of melatonin. I may try to double up on these because they do not work with only 1 pill for me. I have not notice a decrease in pain nor brain activity either. I gave it 2 stars because I did not have any ill effects from them they just aren't strong enough for me.

I will order these again
These include several supplements that I’ve used in the past but never in this combination. My nighttime ritual includes supplements so being able to take one capsule is great. The bottle was well sealed. There is no odor to these and they are small capsules. There is no taste to them and no aftertaste or burping. These were very effective and did exactly as I had hoped they would.

not much difference
I really wanted this to work because I normally need to use diphenhydramine to get tired, but unfortunately I notice no difference with this. Everyone's body is different obviously so this may work for some but I really feel no difference, no matter when I take it. The only reason I can even give it 3 stars is because I haven't had any negative side effects either, so far, and that in itself is worth at least that much. There is not much more that I can say here. It's definitely worth a try if you need help getting to sleep and don't want to use the usual. It would be great if it worked and I don't regret giving it a shot. It's been weeks at this point but I'll keep trying and update if anything changes.
