I only got to page 66. On that page page is a photo of a NUCLEAR POWER PLANT. The CAPTION read in part... "COAL FIRED POWER PLANTS LIKE THIS ONE IN...".I TOSSED the book in the DUMPSTER.

Serves the purpose

They said it was used but still good and they didn't lie. I'm really happy I saved a lot of money. I needed this book for a university class.

Excellently illustrated. I am assuming this is a textbook, and it is ideal for a college course on geology IMO.

I loved this book. It is an easy read for science to the degree most adults may understand.

Bought this as a cheaper alternative to a more recent edition. No complaints.

Very nice textbook. Easy to understand and one of the easier textbooks to read. Author has a good sense of humor and keeps you entertained even though it is a textbook.
