Very nice looking light/fan,remote control works well but if your mostly just using the light that will function from the wall switch so we only use the remote control when using the fan.... the fan is quiet and has great air-flow..... we got some bright led bulbs so it really lights up our kitchen.was very easy to install even has a spot you can hang the fan/fixture up on the junction box so you can get it aligned and tighten up the wire nuts so your not jugging around "that helps from your arms getting tired ,all in all this was a great purchase and wish i had found this first becuace the previous one we purchased that was smaller from a different manufacturer isn't nearly as good .....hope i covered all your concerns :)

I was hesitant to buy this, because the blades are much shorter than on my previous fan. I'm glad I ordered it. The fan is beautiful. The white with a little gold give it an elegant and timeless touch.The fan is in my master bedroom and I'm happy with the way it cools. I was pleasantly surprised with the way it is able to move the air around. It cools better than I thought it would. I wouldn't put it it in an extremely large room, but it is sufficient for my bedroom which is medium size. ( room with queen size bed, several book cabinets, reading book and an executive size desk)

Make sure you read that they don’t take a regular light bulb. I love theses lights it’s my third one. Lowe’s just doesn’t carry the E 26 bulbs and other bulbs are too close to fan blades. But we love theses lights fan lights ❤️

This looks great in my kitchen and provides me with good light for cooking. I like the fan. It has several different power levels but the air blows straight down but I can’t really feel it over by the sink or at the fridge. What can you expect with 6” blades. I’m still happy with the purchase but will not use it everywhere

Easy to install. Lots of light and the fan moves plenty of air with the numerous speeds. A great option where ceiling space is limited.

Very nice product! I will eventually buy several more for other rooms. Super quiet fan. Love that it has 6-speeds.The install should have been easy but I had to make some adjustments to my ceiling box. I choose to do this by myself (65-yr old girl with imited tools). I suggest you get a friend to help hold the fixture when you're trying to mount it to the bracket. Make sure your bracket is level! The safety cable is a great idea!!! mine was too long because my wires were too short so I looped some knots in it to shorten it. I'm enjoying now, need to buy some more bulbs.

The media could not be loaded. Update 3: the light has completely stopped working and the return window is closed. I am out over $90 - what I get for purchasing something so cheap in the first place. Not only am I out the money I paid for the light, but I will have to pay the electrician AGAIN to take this one out and put in a new one, that I will not be buying on Amazon. I am not happy.(The electrician came out to put up the fan I bought somewhere else - a tried and true brand I should have bought in the first place - and he took a look at the 'insides' and said it was not made well at all - things weren't connected right - the electrical board was cheaply made and not hooked up right - don't remember all what he said but end story is - I heavily regret this purchase and it ended costing me-fan and installations for this fan and a new one.)----Update two: The light flickers when I turn it on now. It'll dim a bit then grow brighter and do that a few times - I think it does stop but I'm never in there long enough (it's in a guest room rarely used). This is disappointing. I could return it but I paid someone to put the light in and I don't want to have to pay them again to replace it. I should have spent more money because you often will have just what you pay for and this was cheap. Though I have had cheaper lights before that did fine for years. Oh well. Docking a star down to 3 for this.-----Update: Installation was quick & easy. It looks really cute on the ceiling. I like the patterns it creates when the light is on. The fan can be just a tad noisy (the fan motor, not the blades themselves) but that's on the higher speeds -it's a motor noise. There is a 'wind' option that alternates between fast and slow, then there are quite a few speed selections. This little fan puts out a good bit of air/wind! I was impressed by that. The light is bright enough. E26 regular sized bulbs, though I put in some smaller sized light 'globes' as I didn't want it too bright.I included a video.---------Just received this and these are my initial thoughts. After I have it installed, I will add a video of the fan and light.I purchased this for a downstairs guest bedroom that is rarely used. The price is pretty cheap so that did give me pause, but I have wanted to try one of these caged ceiling fan lights for quite some time and this is the perfect place to put one to try out.The design is pretty. Though I don't really like the brushed on color markings - I wish it were just plain ivory without the brownish/goldish brushstrokes or even if the fan part were just ivory that would be better--the brushstrokes are overdone--but once it is on the ceiling it'll be fine.The 'cage' part is sturdy but it's disappointing that the fan is plastic. Maybe that's what kept the price so low. Again, once it is up, it'll be fine but I wish the fan were metal. You will have what you pay for but I was looking for a bargain and that's what I got. That written, the other parts look well made. So it is baffling that they put a plastic blade. I would have paid more for a metal blade.If you turn the fan blades and they strike the light arms, you can adjust those light arms so the blades do not hit them. Consider that if you are having a lot of noise.The remote is rather large and unattractive. Don't know why it isn't white or cream to match.Overall, I really like it, and that's because of the design. It's pretty and unique, and goes down in the guest area very well as those rooms are more whimsical.I like that this will sit more flush to the ceiling as this is a small room with lower ceilings. It will be a neater cleaner appearance and add that touch of whimsy to the room that I like.Once it is installed, I'll be back with my final thoughts.

I love this light fitting and fan ,it’s looks really pretty in the bedroom, a big improvement on the old ceiling fans.Happy with puchase.
