My kid recently took up yo yo ing. I bought this for his birthday. He absolutely loves it and can do lots of tricks with it.

Still getting used to. Different than the major name brand but very good.

The Spintek R1 Pro is a good yoyo, but it will take a little work to get it performing its best. Out of the box construction and build quality feels really nice and solid. It comes with the responsive bearing in place and the unresponsive bearing in the package. The strings that it comes with feel very good and are a bit long which I like because I can cut it down to my length or have it longer for unresponsive play if I want it. The yoyo feels good in the hand and the machining looks pretty good too. The brand seems like it's sold only on Amazon as I can't find any information elsewhere. Performance is where I think it was a bit lackluster for me. The yoyo seemed to wobble quite a bit during my initial throws and didn't sleep for very long when I made a few medium to hard throws. I was able to perform my "10 basics" including trapeze and brain twister and the yoyo barely came back. I noticed that the string was consistently rubbing along the inside walls as if it was barely wide enough for the string that came with it. I think if you are planning on using the responsive bearing, that you should clean the bearing and lubricate it. I think that will DRAMATICALLY improve performance and I think with a nicely broken in string it will perform really well. Overall, it's a good yoyo but definitely will need some minor work and maintenance to get it to perform its best. Personally, I also think the price ($24.99 USD) is a little high for what this is, especially when there are other similar quality yoyos being sold for less. Giving it four stars because I know this yoyo will perform much better once the bearings are cleaned and lubricated, but straight of the box it would be more along a 3-star rating. I would not recommend this for beginners, but would be more for intermediate players looking for their first metal yoyo. And no, this yoyo does not do the DNA trick well because it lacks the finger dimple.

However, I don't think it's worth the money. I've tried a few strings on it, but it doesn't sleep very long at all, especially when set up as reactive.Doesn't seem to throw well either... I'm going to continue to work with it, but out of the box, I'm not impressed.

Great yoyo, after buying 3 that broke in a day I loved getting a YoYo. That is durable

to complicating. i could not get it come back. maybe someone experience can . I return items to staple on the 3 of March. waiting on refund
