Best option.
This is probably the best option for doing an access door in drywall. It is steel with a nice turn lock you access with a flat blade screwdriver. It is built for different thicknesses of drywall with slots cut length wise for you to bend the tabs to clamp around to the backside of the various thicknesses of the wall. You also have the four screw holes as well to use a few pieces of backer wood. My wife did not want it to be super glossy and was pleased to see the gloss level and texture matches well with a typical modern ceiling finished with textured mud as well as reasonably glossy wall paint (eggshell or satin, etc.). The door can be removed by bending a few tabs to take it out of the way.
