The XLR connectors are used with mobility devices such as scooters, chairs etc. I used these to be able to charge extra batteries using the existing scooter charger. Works great.

Overall, it is good for the simple mic connection I needed but, be careful of the heat you apply while soldering.

These are not very robust. After soldering, trying to reconnect the black strain relief is very touchy and can strip threads very easily.

Worked well
