I was skeptical at first, but I’m glad I bought these. I use a BulletPoint MagSafe car mount, and the plates stick to it very strongly. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max with a Smartish Vol. 1 case. I attached one of the plates to the back of the case, and it mounts to my car mount with no problem. I previously used a UAG case with the stop-sign–shaped MagSafe ring, which also worked well, but I wanted a case that could hold my cards. The Smartish + plate combo works just as well. Solid hold and no issues so far.

Thicker than original plate. Better magnetic hold than original plate. Very sturdy and holds phone easily.

It really works well on my phone cases. Specially with the magsafe cases. And I can also remove put it in a different phone cases that has magsafe at the back. Adhesive strength is strong. Stability and versatility

Bought these because I didn’t know if the mount came with any! They did indeed but I put it on my case and it fell off within a week! It works great on smooth cases, but if your case if rough it sucks at keeping your phone on the mount!

I have been using the Scosche Magic Mount system in my car for nearly a year now and I LOOOOOVE it!! If you use it too, chances are you probably read my review for the dash mount. However, I recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 8 and my plate was stuck to the back of my case. New phone, new case, new magic mount plate. Also, my last magic mount plate was black. My new phone is gold, so I wanted to get a gold plate to match. Everything arrived well packaged and with all the necessary instructions etc. I stuck it on without any problems and it works perfectly! All that being said, I have a few quibbles with these plates. First, the gold color of the new iPhone 8 doesn't quite match the gold color of these plates. The gold of the iPhone 8 has a rosier hue than the plates. I wish they matched better, but it's honestly not bad. Second, these plates do tend to have their color wear off over time, and that is based on my year of experience with the black ones. I had to color over spots with sharpie many times when the black rubbed off and the silver plate beneath was revealed. It just starts to look cheap and tacky after 6 months. Obviously that hasn't happened with this plate yet but I anticipate that it will and I will have to buy new ones. That being said, at $10, I can afford to replace the plates every 6 months. I only use the middle/medium size plate for my iPhone so I wish I had the option of buying a 3 pack of just that size, but I don't. Boo. The other two just go to waste. Lastly, I'm pretty OCD about things being straight and even, and it's a little hard to apply these plates just perfectly without using some kind of accessory like what comes with glass screen protectors to apply them evenly. I wish these plates would come with some sort of similar guide or accessory to help apply them squarely. One final personal note: After much trial and error, I have found that the best place to put this place to use it with the dash mount in the car is at the bottom of the phone (see pics), horizontally. It holds it very securely, makes for the best viewing angle and doesn't interfere with wireless charging etc. I hope this helps someone else! These are good metal plates, but not great. They work well with some phone cases and magnet phone holders and not others. My first attempt worked great, until I changed the magnet and case to something different and then the adhesive failed and the plate would not stay on the phone case unfortunately due to an overly strong magnet.

Used for my popsocket and works great so far. The application is straight forward however, the provided application instructions are not very clear so I recommend watching a YouTube video. In my opinion, expensive for just two small pieces of sticky pieces of metal but sadly found no alternatives.

Estas placas son super gruesas y traen un adhesivo 3M muy fuerte. Le pegué 2 al holster de mi cel y ahora se sostienen totalmente sin moverse en el sujetador magnético del tablero de mi camioneta. Los baches y los topes ya no me dejan sin el Maps!!!

Se ajusta al color de mi equipo

Excelente para lo que necesitaba. Tiene un agarré magnético muy fuerte con los pds matemáticos para el coche. Viene en 3 diferentes tamaños que están perfectos para diferentes usos (yo por ahora utilicé el más grande en la funda de mi celular). No es intrusivo. Es bastante delgado (al punto de que no se siente al agarrar la funda). Me gusta el diseño. Y al tener adhesivo 3M no se va a despegar de la funda. Excelente producto, excelente marca.

Super strong! Might be too much for cell phone. Buyer beware it does advertise as THICK. Lol
