6 Feet CPAP Hose Cover, Soft Tube Sleeve Wrap, Prevent Rainouts Comfortable and Safe

I drape my hose over my beautiful wood bed headboard and worried it would cause damage…not to mention the rubbing noise when it shifts. This protects my bed perfectly and makes movement of the hose silent.

Pros:Nicely zippered. Zipper itself is nylon and doesn’t have any rough edges like metal zipper teeth might have.It’s made of a very soft material, which minimizes unnecessary bulk on the hose. It’s got a fuzzy feel to it, like a thin fleece or a flannel, which I think is nice, but you will have to decide if you want that, or if you’d prefer a more smooth, slippery material like a smooth nylon or polyester.Cons:About 4-5 inches of the flexible portion of my CPAP hose are not covered by this tube cover because the tube cover is a little short. For reference, I have the ResMed heated tubing. With it being a few inches short, it means that a few inches of tubing are visible, on one end or the other, or perhaps a little of both (the tube cover does slide and shift a little during use, over time.) Not sure why they didn’t make the tube cover a few inches longer, unless, with it being a one size fits all type of cover, maybe different brands of tubing vary in length by a few inches? Anyway, this issue doesn’t affect functionality since the few inches of exposed tubing would be at the ends of the tubing, not the center portion that comes into contact with bedding, headboards, etc. But, I would also say that it’s not so aesthetically pleasing to have a few inches of tubing showing near the ends. It’s kind of like having pants that are a little too short, allowing too much sock to show. Not great. Still, it doesn’t affect functionality.One thing that you should be aware of is, there are at least 2 different diameters of tubing on the market. This cover will fit any diameter tubing. But this also means that, if you have the narrower tubing (as I do, having the ResMed heated tubing), this cover will leave some extra space inside. In my experience, that only means that the cover will slide more easily side to side, from one end of the tubing to the other. Probably not a big deal, but I have to say that I’ve had a different tube cover in the past that fit more snugly over the tube, and I liked the look for that more form-fitting cover better. But again, with this being a generic one size fits all cover, it’s bound to be a tiny bit baggy on the narrower tubing. Just something to be aware of before you buy.

Easy to apply quality material

This hose cover has made my nights quieter, no hose rubbing up against the furniture all night. I haven’t experienced a rain out since I started using it. I definitely recommend it!

Works a lot better than the neoprene one I had before

I bought this for my travel cpap, it is way too bulky to haul all over the country. Maybe it would be best used in a home envy.

The idea is to use a fleece-type material in a round design to go around the tube (6 ft length) and connect the two ends with a 6 feet long zipper.Does this idea work exactly as expected? Not quite. But it does offer some big benefits in its own way.First, it makes your CPAP machine look clean and elegant - No water showing in the tubes. The zipper and the material is of a good quality. And finally, it does give a nice cushiony feel when you put on the mask. The price is just right.So what is wrong. One thing: how to do you clean this? I assume hand wash. The product comes from a Chinese hosiery brand (nothing wrong with that) and they should have given some extra effort into creating some additional instructions. So I take one point off.In any case, for a simple product that is almost in the essential category, I think this product deserves four stars.

This is a great hose cover. It’s soft like a pair of pajamas for your CPAP, the zipper is strong, and it’s been great for helping me to avoid the dreaded rainout.
