Joining Forces Mergers Acquis Alliances (Jossey Bass Business & Management Series) Paperback – 12 Dec. 1997

This is an excellent book written by authors that clearly have hands-on experience managing M&As. The book has a slant on the cultural issues and provides some examples of how the authors have acted when dealing with their clients in their consulting work. The info is well researched, the style is very down to earth without dumbing down the subject and I really enjoyed the recent examples provided.Whilst i think that this is an excellent book that should be part of M&As practitioners libraries, I do not give it 5 stars as in some cases the authors were not very clear in the interventions that they undertook and talked at very high level. i would have preferred more focus in fewer areas with a more detailed explanation of how they have helped their clients dealing with those issues. Nevertheless, overall one of the best M&As book on the market (and I have read nearly them all!).
