Works great only used once I would say it works too good I cut too much off but that’s my fault not the clippers. Good and sturdy.

With my first long coat dog I didn’t realize the maintenance it was going to be. So we discovered numerous mats on her. I ordered the clippers since groomers are expensive and we no longer have any large breed ones in my area. They worked great cutting on her mats, but without a professional grooming table she keep walking away from me because what dog likes getting clipped. So if you are like me I’d also recommend an extension cord. Good luck!

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? coz I used 1/8" to trim her legs, no hair was trimmed out. I used to have another brand and the hair could be trimmed very short. I don't understand.Update, I tried again. realized the hair was too thick that the comb couldn't get into close to the skin. That's why the hair couldn't be trimmed before. It's a lot better but still not very short. I would try again.

From the beginning it had a rattling sound like a piece was loose inside so it’s possible the one I got was defective. However it’s rusted and completely dull after one use.

Stop paying those high prices to have your dog trimmed. If you have a dog with hair that needs to be trimmed as the seasons change, these clippers will make your job easier. I have a "Chiranian" (Chihuahua/Pomeranian), and this dog has crazy hair, it changes texture four times from his head to his tail. Every winter his hair around his waist grows out and it looks like he is wearing a "TUTU". He is also afraid of his own shadow, so any noise gets him all nervous. I purchased a battery powered clipper because the "experts" at Petco said it was the best model available. Apparently, they have not tried that clipper before, the battery lasts half of a small dog, not cool unless you feel like laughing at your dog until the battery recharges. These WALH clippers work great, they are extremely quiet, sharp, and blaze through hair with no issues. My dog actually sat still the whole time, a first for him, and everytime I turned the clippers off he just sat there, looked back at me with that "more please" look, and seemed HAPPY. I had a battery operated one. no power and the battery didn't last long enough.

Not impressed with this clipper. It says Heavy Duty but does not cut dog or cat hair very well. I bought these to shave my cat and they would barley cut his hair. Its not thick or ratty so it should have cut just fine being HEAVY DUTY. I also tried to trim up the neighbors dog and it wouldn't work on his dog either. I would not recommend this product for anything other than trimming up paws, because thats all it did good on was my dogs paws.
