Secure!
The cable is heavy and secure but it has a permanent curl which is a little unhandy for me. I ride almost every day and the curl is a small problem every time I unlock and lock up.

They seem nice but they are pretty thin and not as heavy duty as I expected. They will serve the purpose though.
