Side Sleeper? Sleep without tube!!
What a gem. I bought Oxyllow a couple of weeks ago. I fit the description of who could benefit. Side sleeper? Check. Continuous flow? Check. It arrived and I unpacked the box. Easy to assemble. There is a pillow case with velcro strips for the boxes. I use a memory foam pillow and the boxes stayed where I wanted them to be. The first couple of nights I made myself wake up to check my o2 (yes, took the oximeter in the bed with me). And I was holding steady! I use 3.5 lpm. Also, when I used a cannula, if it would fall off, I would wake up because my o2 would drop. I haven't had that experience with the Oxyllow. I also sorta wake up when I want to turn over and it is nice that I don't have to adjust anything once I have turned. This product is definitely not for a back sleeper! I personally am a hard right sleeper and rarely turn over. Now keep your cannula near your bed. You will need it when you get up in the morning or if you have to use the bathroom at night. However disconnecting and reconnecting the Oxyllow is simple and should not discourage anyone from trying it.P.S. it is so nice to wake up with no cannula marks on my face!

Admirable goal, but a tough problem to resolve well
Wearing a cannula or a mask while sleeping can be unpleasant for most people, especially if you're a restless sleeper or have sensitive skin. I ordered this oxygen delivery system in the hopes that I could avoid wearing uncomfortable tubes at night. The devices themselves were much larger than I expected - that's not a bad thing, just a little surprising to me. They can be securely attached in the proper position using the included pillowcase. This "proper position", though, is fairly close to your face...has to be in order to try to get the benefit from the oxygen flow. My wife who is claustrophobic could never sleep with anything that close to her face. Isn't going to happen. Even with them that close, I felt I simply wan't getting enough oxygen, and every time I shifted positions just a little, I tended to hit them with my head or face.I wish this had ended up being a good solution for me, but I'm beginning to think the only reliable alternative to tubes and masks is the old-style oxygen tent that hospitals used to drape over their patients' beds.

Handy for people that hate cannulas
I’m very glad I bought this, as I can’t sleep with cannulas. The blocks are soft and a bit squishy so it’s comfortable to sleep next to with bumping yourself.

Great if
This is a great attachment for people who are side sleepers if they don't move around much. My problem is I move too much at night and sadly it doesn't work for me, but if you sleep still, this would be great for you

Oxygen does not flow, tubing may be to long, great concept if it works, but this doesn’t cannot be returned as per Amazon, wasted my money on this, hopefully the seller will tell me why it doesn’t work.

Freedom from my Cannula
I have been using this Oxyllow product or the earlier version for about 2 years. I always sleep on my right side and do not move around much. I need 2L of oxygen when I sleep and it works great for me. I love not wearing a cannula at night to manage my oxygen when using this product. I do check my oxygen levels and they remain above appropriate levels. This is a great product for side sleepers. It is very easy to set up then hook up to your oxygen concentrator. I love the velcro strips on the pillowcase! You can then attach the system in the position on the pillowcase that works best for you.I do not get tangled in a cord and my nose and ears feel great in the morning. I sleep much better using this product!

For those who don't move around a lot! Doesn't work well with some pillow preferences!
I like and appreciate the concept for the "Oxyllow No-Wear Oxygen Solution | Nighttime Oxygen for Side Sleepers | Nasal Cannula Alternative | Comfortable | Portable Respiratory Aid | Tubing, Y Connector, Pillow Case, Sleeping Blocks" but I expected it to be more than it is. I think this may work for some but not others. It's basically a way to have the air pumped out on each side of your head so you don't need to wear it. This may be great if you don't much around too much and keep your nose fairly close to the funnel-type cup where the air comes out (the oxygen concentrator). It is tucked into the sturdy, firm (yet softish if you bump it) blocks that are velcro'ed to a silky-like pillowcase. You can adjust the location of the foam blocks as there are long strips of velcro. The pillow you use will make a difference as it will need to be shaped and sized to support the blocks without moving around. This is my issue. Between my preference for very soft feather pillows combined with the silky pillowcase the blocks don't want to stay where they need to be. It doesn't help that I move around a lot in my sleep and get up & down numerous times. It feels like I am continually readjusting. Not a lot of sleeping going on. I'm currently trying to figure a way to address some of these issues. For the price I would like to see some adapters or information/suggestions included. Basically, you get a pillowcase with velcro, two foam covered blocks with holes that you put the two cups (similar to a funnel) through. Basic hoses to get you started with the connection. Top of the line!
Definitely a great idea! This product has been so so helpful for me. When I sleep with regular oxygen tubing my nose gets dry and sore. Now that I use the blocks on my pillows, I don’t have to worry about any of the sore and dry nose anymore. I have been using the blocks for a little over 7-8 months and can tell a world of difference. My nose is not raw and also I don’t have to worry about getting my oxygen tubes all over me! The tubes not having to be on me has been a huge change and I’m here for it!
