easy to set up. works with google plus /Alexa... you are doing something wrong if you can not connect or reset trust me it took me an hour because I was doing stuff wrong and I just reset everything including the stuff that was working PLUS a brian reset :) ... ok first you need google home ... 2... smart life app you will need to register an account then add your devices one by one after you have found what you want to add in smart life app list smart light bulb or plug so on your see it all in the smart life app after adding to you smart life app go to google home you have two options google home devices or devices that work with google home take the 2 option this will take you to a list scroll down alll the way to smart life app( blue icon white lined house) click on it and it will link the smart life app to your google home app :) then just say ok google sync :) google will say ok now syncing with smart life . you can change the name of your devices in both home and smart life. hope this helps all you confused souls out there . also to reset the plug hold the button in for 5 to 8 seconds when it's blinking red not when its static blue. and light bulbs to reset a smart bulb just turn of by switch count to 8 and turn on then of count to 8 and on again . may have to do this a few times cos you counted to fast or slow LOL but that's how to reset a smart bulb. Ok, everything I have self-taught passed on hope this helps :) good luck.

The units need very little effort to set up and in a few minutes are working. I found one unit kept disconnecting from the wifi. One solution was to reset and reinstall which i did but this is where the instructions are not so clear. Could not sort the wifi problem out but found that the unit needed to be much closer to the router than other similar units that i already had.

Two smart sockets can be used anywhere in the house but must first be set up using the free App from either the Apple or Android store. It is important to know that these devices only work on 2.4 ghz wifi networks, so it is worth checking your own wifi before ordering.Setting up is all done through the app and once connected to your wifi allows you to plug in for example a light and be able to set up a timer to switch it on or off or to fully control it via the smartphone app no matter where you are - think security when you are on holiday! It is also possible to link it to Alexa or Google and use voice commands to operate anything that is plugged in. All in all a lot of product for the money. The company seems receptive and provides a little booklet explaining installation and any troubleshooting issues.

These are great. So easy to set up. I used one on a lamp which I have set to come on every evening at 4-30 and go off at 12, and the other on my kettle. with both I can ask Alexa to put the kettle on or put the light on and it happens straight away. You need to use the app Smart Life and enable the Smart life skill in the Alexa app but after that it was a breeze. The quality seems good - they are a good weight.There is a light on them which is always on, red when it's off and bright blue when it's on. This could be an issue in a bedroom, but they are great for me. I Measured how much electric they use when on standby and it is negligible.

Bought 2 of these then initially they worked well so bought another 4. Have 6 in total. 5 are working fine but one of them is now a dud. The red light to indicate the socket off is redundant...whether on or off by manually pressing or inside alexa or the smart life app the connected device stays on. Have tried resetting so many times and have tried different plugs inserted into the smart socket...whether on or off on the app, the device plugged into it remains on making it completely useless...

I thought I would take a chance with these smart plugs as they were very reasonably priced. I had a concern as I have other plugs working with a different app on my phone, I didn't want to have to open different apps for different plugs, so I was hoping I could use the same app, I wasn't disappointed, they connected to the same app almost instantly. I have BT everywhere in my home so the signal from my router and Wi-Fi dics is 5 GHz, these work on 2.4 GHz, so I figured if I find a socket the furthest from a disc I might be able to pick up a 2.4GHz signal, and I did, I followed the instructions and they connected right away, once the initial connection was completed I was able to place them anyway in my home. So far I haven't had any problems since I set them up. Would I recommend these smart plugs, absolutely, in fact I might buy a few more.

Unable to connect to my hub no matter what I did would not connect at all very disappointed my hub is 2.4ghz but just would not have it

Bit bulky but work really well. Easy to setup with Smart Life app & add into Alexa. Annoying they don’t work on 5GHz & I had to swap to 2.4 to setup.
