It is a cheap one and the quality is as expected. It was made waterproof at the bottom by putting a film at the bottom that prevents water to infiltrate, but that film can be torn very easily on a stone, and mine came with being damaged. I did not return it because I live in LA where it rains rarely, so I can use it without an issue outdoors. The top cover is soft, so it is good for sitting. Note that it is waterproof (if not damaged) from the bottom, not at top. If you want a completely waterproof one, just buy a plastic mat.

I've been looking for a large enough blanket to use outdoors in conjunction with our popup sun shade tent. The size is great for my family of three, and the fabric seems sturdy. Our dog has taken to scratching it (like he's trying to dig a hole through it) and it's held up well. The bottom side is easy to clean up, great for sand and especially dirt. We've already used it as a table cloth in a pinch at the park.

Bought this for my emergency kit. Great quality with this price! Good value. The edge was sewed very well, and the blanket was thick and water proof. It’s also large—very practical.
