My 9yo son loves this shirt, the XL fits him pretty well, and it's fun that it's interactive. My almost 7yo daughter wants one now! I'm not sure how long it'll hold up and continue to work, but so far, so good.

I ordered a size large for my 9 year old who is between medium and large, and this shirt fits like a smaller medium. Unfortunately he'll be handing it down to his brother pretty quick. The shirts effect is pretty cool, very bright glow but fairly short lived.So the good:1. Fun to play with!2. Comes with 2 light pens so my boys can both write stuff on it without fighting over who has the light3. Nice heavy weight t-shirtThe bad:1. Sizing way off2. Says it must be hand washed?! And no dryer.3. Includes tiny button cell batteries which are in very easy to open light up keychain. I have a baby in the house and these type of batteries pose serious danger if swallowed.4. Glow could last longer.All in all it's fun, and really my biggest issue is how easy it is to access the several tiny batteries which when swallowed can activate and burn from the inside out. It's a serious danger with young children. And I doubt I'll be buying a bunch of these itty-bitty batteries too replace these when they run out. Really prefer more standard battery choices like AAA or something available in a rechargeable.

I got this for my Kiddo and he LOVES it. Heck, I LOVE IT!The shirt has a glow in the dark conversation balloon. You can use the included 2 light pens to write words OR draw. The key is that you want to use the light like a pen, with the tip of the light touching the shirt surface. The slower you write, the longer the glow will last. Even when you write kinda fast, the glow factor last a nice few minutes before it fades. I was testing it out and I LOVED IT. I had so much fun! We even played around with shadows but overlaying designs.When I gave this to my Son to wear, I put the light keychain on one of my retractable badge lanyards. That way, he or a friend can get the pen and write on it without loosing it.Since this is a novelty T-shirt, I put the T-shirt in a laundry bag to wash. I also hung dry instead of putting it in the dryer. So far, we are 3 washes in and it's as great as when we first had it. On one of my loads, I let it stay in the laundry a little longer than normal and it got a little wrinkly. I use a steam iron and lightly ironed the INSIDE of the shirt and was able to pull the wrinkles out.The T-shirt size is true to size for kids.This is also gift ready. The shirt comes in a neat box with instructions. The shirt comes in a bag inside the box and the 2 light flashlights are also individually wrapped. (For a Parent, I would suggesting hiding the extra light pen, because the kids are bound to loose one and you will have one on hand.)You can also use your phone, but like the suggestion above, you want to put your light right up to the surface of the shirt.

What a fun thing. Taking crafts and art to the next level. This made for an awesome gift.

So I actually got this for my ASD kiddo. And when I say it’s worth it. It is worth it!! The glow is so bright and so much fun. It doesn’t take an extreme amount of time to go back to normal so it’s not like kids are just waiting around for it to be able to draw it again either. Shirts that aren’t the school classes much so the fact that this is only 25 I would definitely buy it again. You just pull out the little tabs from the lights to make the batteries work and Bam you’re good to go! My kids love this.

This glow shirt lots of fun, even though it's not practical. The glow from the special light pen is cool, but doesn't last very long. So in the end, it's simply a shirt with a word bubble on it. My kiddo wants to wear it to school, but that would require sending the light pen with her. And I don't think the teacher would appreciate the distraction it would cause. So in the end, it's neat, but not at all practical.

I got this in an XL and it fits Max a 11-12yr old, but other than that, it is great funIt comes with 2 light pens for writing on the shirt, which lasts a good 10-15mins. Would be great for a glow party, or Halloween night.Real fun and unique shirt
