Thick but easy to apply. No strong scent. Neither greasy nor sticky. Doesn’t leave a white residue like some other brands I’ve used (neutragena!!) Goes on under my moisturizer and cover-up. No sun burns since I started using daily!

Stings my eyes, but there aren’t any effective, non-toxic options I’ve found that don’t sting your eyes. I definitely feel protected and haven’t experienced any clogged pores. No white cast that I can see.

I have brown skin and have tried a bunch of non-toxic daily facial sunscreens. All leave a whitecast or shine. The Solara one does not. It has a very light layer that blends in well and after 5 minutes there is no whitecast.I like that is is mineral-based which means its safe for you and for the oceans. It could be priced better, but I'll spend more for something high quality. I wish they had a bigger option at a lower price point per oz.

Made both my face and my daughter’s face turn bright red. Tried it on multiple days. I think it was an allergic reaction vs lack of protection, but can’t be 100% sure.
