Fallen Hearts: Casteel

Brilliant!
So, I literally started this ten minutes after finishing ‘Dark Angel’ I just couldn’t stop reading these books just yet. This is the third book in the Casteel Family Saga by V.C. Andrews and in this instalment it looks like Heaven might get the happy ever after she’s always strived and longed for. However, nothing ever runs smoothly, and she must overcome heartbreak and obstacles before she can finally settle.Fanny, her sister, is hell-bent on destroying Heaven. Logan, her one constant is captivated and seduced by Tony’s way of life. Along with a few questionable decisions from Heaven herself and lots of tragedy, Heaven must learn to love herself and to carve out the life she wants without anyone else’s influence.Even though this story does plod a little in places, there is certainly a lot packed into the 417 pages. It really starts to bring all the veins of the story that we have been encountering in the past two books together. Resulting in an accumulation of surprises, shocks and intrigue. Not only is it tying up the story from the previous two books, but is setting the way for book four. The events that occur here are catalysts for the darkness that is still to come.I’m absolutely loving being back in this world; again, I couldn’t remember everything that was going to happen. Only slight snippets and feelings of foreboding accompanied me throughout this instalment.A thoroughly captivating story. Even though I am chomping at the bit to continue the saga I am going to take a small break before starting book four as I have a few reading commitments I must take care of first. This will just mean I read those other books all the faster so I can return and finish of Heaven’s story.

The Casteel story continues (book 3)
Wow where did all that come from...Twists ,Turns and Tragedy.... Another great book in the Casteel series.A five star book ,and it channels all your thoughts into the future for Heaven. What more can go wrong, where will Troy appear next..A book you can't put down, and I'm ready for the fourth book. Many many years on from its first release and I'm glad I revisited the series.

More Predictable
The third book in the Casteel series is just as deep as the previous two, but it was a lot more predictable which bothered me slightly. Heaven continues to be annoying, but Virginia Andrews is still writing strong.
