ANTOP AT-400B Indoor/Outdoor Digital Smartpass HDTV Antenna 80 Miles Multi-Directional VHF/UHF - 1 Year Warranty (Renewed)

I live in a zip code just outside Tampa FL, and according to the FCC Web site I should get strong signal on all the major channels. That's why I ordered this antenna, wanting to get the local channels. I get the rest on the Internet. Tried to install indoors first, no luck getting anything worth watching. Moved it outside next to my old satellite dish, on a balcony on the 2nd floor, very unstable picture for NBC, no CBS, ABC working OK but mainly getting shopping channels and a bunch of Spanish ones. Moved it to the side of the house facing East, toward Tampa. Still no CBS and NBC very unstable. Total of 33 channels but very few that I would watch. I tried with or without the booster. Never could get it to work like it was supposed to be. It states 80 miles range, I'm not even 25 miles from Tampa and got nothing good. I repacked and returned it for refund. Didn't work at all for me.

Just got it today and temporarily placed on my entertainment center and connected the cable. Ran the auto program and picked up 32 channels with out even adjusting.Update: 01/25/2020So it's been over year and wanted to report some oddities. When working the channels are fantastically clear but then there are oddities. So this antenna needs a booster to get the extended range channels up to 80miles. What's odd is I'm 37 miles from Tampa and the main station in in Brandon FL. I shouldn't need the booster since the antenna is mounted high on the roof with a clear line in that direction. The booster seems to overheat and some how drops to 10 to 15 channels out of 62 channels (most are duplicates and religious channels). CBS and ABC turn off the local feed regularly, especially during sporting events, and direct you to purchase their apps (not sure if that's legal). As soon as the game is over the channels return to normal broadcasting.So if you're ok with having to unplug the antenna booster every other day than is the product for you.

We returned this. It doesn't work any better than the cheap antenna I already had. It pulls in no more than 10 channels, and sometimes fewer, depending on location. Spotty reception, frequently lost channel.

I must admit I was a little sceptical about this antenna but it turned out to be one of the best antennas I've ever used. I live in a bad area for OTA signal and live in a condo so I'm limited on space so I mounted the AT-400B ant. on my Deck post, aimed it at the nearest tower and it worked great couldn't be more happy with the antenna.

I'M FREE OF CABLE TV AND THEIR OUTRAGEOUS PRICES. THIS ANTOP ANTENNA PICKS UP OVER 30 CHANNELS INSIDE MY HOUSE. I SHOULD HAVE CUT THE CORD YEARS AGO! THANK YOU ANTOP!!!

I happen to see the review on my local news about this antenna and so glad I did. I've bought several Antennas in attempt to cut the cord and none is as good as this. Its pricey, but definitely worth it.

I bought this on the recommendation of the King 5 s DealBoss. It is better than the last one I had but not by much.

Unit is large for use inside, Didn't work any better than cheap flat panel.
