The cameras are excellent quality for the price. The video quality is quite good and night vision works very well. The cameras are easy to control with the app from wherever I am and the motion sensors pick up quite well with adjustable sensitivity. Notifications are prompt but sometimes I have difficulty seeing what the motion sensors detected. Sometimes I see no motion in the video clip the camera saves for each notification. The only problem I had mounting the cameras was determining a good location for wifi to capture the field of view I wanted. You need good wifi if mounting these cameras outside. The battery life seems phenomenal with these cameras I might add. I have had them mounted in cold wet weather for over 2 weeks now and the battery has only dropped to 89%. Should last a couple months easy before charging is required. Overall these are great cameras and the app is good too. I had a couple questions regarding wifi during my setup and customer service was prompt and helpful in responding. These cameras are recommended

We bought three of these for a friend with a homebound wife so he could check on her when he went to do things. Setup is a breeze, mounting was simple and straight forward and they are crystal clear. All 3 show on one app and they are truly wireless... not like many that state they are, but need a powe source. He's 93 and he can operate and use the app just fine. Very nice solid construction. Not Cheap feeling at all. Compares to Arlo for a fraction of the cost. No cloud service needed to just check in with no recording.

I have theses at a second property. Set up is a snap, the battery lasts months on a charge. Video quality is good (not nest quality but good) Cost between nest and Dzees is not even close, with Dzees being far cheaper to buy and manage on their cloud server. Quality of the product is great. I left 4 outside running in northern Ontario and zero issues. I have subsequently brought 2 Solar chargers and there are very impressive.

Had these for about 3 years now and they're still going great.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the two units I purchased on October 10, 2025, for $109.00 for both, based on a strong recommendation. One camera rarely sends messages, while the other sends continuous notifications with every movement, often triggered by passing vehicles (which I have disabled, and set only people). The recording experiences significant lag, and the AI feature has proven to be entirely ineffective. Additionally, the selected zone functionality does not operate as intended. It appears these devices are only suitable for live viewing. I have decided not to pursue the process of writing and returning them. Instead, I have purchased a Tapo C510W as a replacement, and I am hopeful for better performance from this new unit.
