This slicer works great. The blade is sharp but I like how it came with a blade lock so it’s easier to wash without getting hurt. Easy to use and save me lots of time.I definitely recommended this item.

I was a little apprehensive about this slicer since I had never used one before, but I had been asked to bring a sliced cucumber salad to a potluck, and I knew I'd never be able to slice the cucumbers uniformly. I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use and how quickly the task was accomplished. Once I had mastered the cucumbers, I decided to try a large onion, and it went just as quickly. This slicer is definitely worth the money.

I took away a star because my old one allowed me to julienne vegetables; this doesn't, but otherwise it's fine.

DON'T hesitate, buy it!!Y'all. This thing is SHARP, very easily handled and makes slicing my veggies so so so much better & easier! I love cooking but I spend an insane amount of time on prep, with this mandolin my prep time is halved! Without naming names, I've had famous chef promoted mandolins& not a single one works as well as this baby!The ONLY downsides I've found are that the space between the plastic & the blade attachment isn't exactly easy to clean😅 & gunk builds up FAST😵‍💫. Also SHARP af! I got issues with the gripper thing (most of the ones that come with mandolins tbh) and I've found slicing a chunk of thumb off ain't no picnic (I've got the scars to prove it). Personally I recommend getting the knife resistant gloves cause they work REALLY well! 😁Side note, it's NOT big so it could easily fit in a drawer with other cooking stuffs or you can easily hang it on a hook using the handle! Super handy!!

On the first use, I was excited to slice sweet potatoes and make some chips. But after the first time, some bits of it got stuck between the bottom part of the blade and the plastic that holds it in place. Didn't think it was a big deal at first but it was impossible to wash it out. With more use, I am a bit concerned about food bit becoming stuck there and growing mold since it can't be washed off. I suppose for ten bucks I can't complain. It's just a mandoline but still not sure if I should keep it.

This is a big time saver and it doesn’t take up slot of space like some of the other cutting items. The blade is very sharp and it is very easy to clean

I make cucumber salads nearly every day. After taking a chunk out of my thumb with a previous mandoline because the "guard" would not hold cucumbers, this is a wonderful replacement. The guard for this one is perfect for smaller items.

So easy to slice and has made cutting things up so much quicker. Love it!
