Fast germination and growth!
I germinated 3 seeds in a paper towel/ZipLoc bag setup, and had transplantable sprouts in 5 days. A week ago, I transplanted them into net cups with LECA balls and dropped them into a seedling-strength hydroponic nutrient solution in repurposed (1-gallon) Red Vines Licorice buckets wrapped in aluminum foil to block out light from the roots. 3 for 3, they're all doing great!Within 2 days on transplanting, I had seedlings standing above the cup edges and LECA by 3 inches. "Jimmy" is the leader of the pack, currently standing 9 1/2", and "Morris" is at 7" even as the smallest of the 3.Survival Garden Seeds are on the lower end of the spectrum in price, but with this kind of quality, I'll be doing a lot more business with them in the future. Highly recommended!
