Absolutely fantastic product, however if you need it to work for PS5 I would recommend getting the Brook PS5 dongle to plug into it, otherwise I had difficulty getting it to stop disconnecting. My only other complaint is that it is a little small for my hands, but thats more a personal choice than an issue with the device, I would prefer the buttons a little more seperated. Fantastic little device though.

This controller is great, small, lightweight and the buttons themselves feel very responsive for the money can't go wrong. Only issue I have ran Into and I noticed it when I got the product but it didn't cause issues till recently and that is the ext port for authenticators for consoles is loose, so if you use an adapter like the broom wingman like I do it will weigh down and eventually stop connecting properly without something underneath it. Not sure if just my unit or slight design flaw but something to look out for.

The hitbox was easily dis-assembled for me to install my decal under the plexiglass plate. The switches/buttons have a good feeling to them. Cheap, holds really well for the price. Cons: I got this for tekken 8, and 16 felt like too many buttons, 13 is probably better for that kind of game. Sometimes I input once and it inputs three times. Not sure if this is a trait of the hitbox or a defect. Upgrading the firmware is unclear (even with instructions), it's better to visit the haute42 discord and check for the latest firmware and follow instructions through past comments. Grey-Area: Very Small, good for travel. Might be too small, though.

In short, this is a must buy if you’re looking for a hitbox controller for an affordable price. If you want to play with the controller on your lap get the T16, if you want to play with the controller resting on a desk (like me) get the G16 For context I own a $250 hitbox and a $150 snackbox micro lite and this company blows them away in terms of customization, accessibility and quality. Out the box this has 2 extra buttons mapped to L3 & R3 opposite the traditional hitbox jump button in the perfect spot where you can rest a thumb on either. In a game like Sf6 this is huge, because you can set these extra buttons to drive impact and throw. So you always have a finger resting on parry, drive impact and throw very comfortably. Take a look at some of the sf pros like tokido, kakeru and daigo all use modded hitbox controllers with extra buttons so they can do this. Neither the hitbox or snackbox include software that allows you to remap buttons and this does (if you want to change the configuration of the controller you have to physically open the controller and redo the pins yourself). Why does this matter? My biggest pet peeve is that by default these kinds of controller are set to X, Y , R1, L1 across the top and A, B, R2, L2 across the bottom. Its infuriating because it makes menu navigation in games backwards for no reason and your stuck with it. Except with this controller you can access the web configurator to remap buttons to whatever configuration you want. Stock the hitbox does not have leds, the snackbox does but to customize them you have to download the JF Connect app on your phone and pair to it via bluetooth. Honestly the app is pretty janky and the low rating in the app store reflects the quality. With this you can use the web configurator to set the leds. in terms of quality the G16 is extremely solid, the controller has a heft to it and the buttons sound nice and chonky when pressed, very satisfying. This is straight up the most bang for you buck hitbox style controller period. If you are interested in a hitbox controller i cannot recommend this one enough.
