My cats are in love with this!! I find it keeping them warm but not too warm!! It’s a decent size and worth the money!! I also find it to be super durable. They haven’t tore it up yet!! It’s also super easy to clean and I find its appearance to seem comfy! Overall I find it to be perfect for them! I can put it in our bed or their crate or anywhere I want and it’s not taking up too much space!! You can also fold it in half perfectly if you want it to be super fluffy!!

My senior cat loves to sleep in a dog crate. I have a crate pad in there and had been putting one of those white sherpa-like beds on top of it, occasionally replacing the white sherpa bed. Since the crate is in a colder part of the house, I thought I would try this pad instead. My cat seems to love it. I have not washed the cover yet. It is a thin pad inside a cover. The pad itself has metallic material on it, I guess that holds in the cat's body heat. And it is a little crinkly like a paper bag (another item that my cat likes to sleep in). The pad is not thick or cushy, but the cover is nice and soft. For my needs, where it is on top of a crate pad - it is perfect.

The mat reflects heat back from my cat’s body really well. There is a layer of batting and reflective material inside sewn together as one piece that can be removed for washing the cover. The other benefit is that you can add another layer of batting inside the mat. I made an extra layer, a crochet layer using yarn, thick yarn, to give the mat a little extra stability and even more comfort. It also makes it easier for my cat to crawl on and lie on if the mat is placed on a soft or uneven surface. I did this because she’s using the mat on top of her cat bed. The size is absolutely perfect for a cat. In the past I’ve paid more than double the price of this one for a far inferior product. This mat is much better than other mats I’ve bought in the past. This mat will make my cat’s arthritis so much easier to deal with and help keep any chill out of her bones. She’s already completely asleep on it. Being an older cat, 14 which is the max for her breed, this matters perfect for what I needed to keep her bones from hurting so much as well as to keep the chill out. She likes to lay in the bay window but living In Canada’s far north that can be quite cold for half the year. With this match she’s perfectly comfortable even in the window. I’m so happy with it that I am purchasing a second one right now for my other cat who is not much younger.

Thinner than I expected, but soft and cozy. My cat ignored it for 2 days but since then has slept on it for a few hours each day (for about a week now). I got the 61x46 cm size and it’s perfect for my 10.5 lb cat. I like that I can remove the cover for washing but I haven’t washed it yet.

Everything you buy for your cats is risky because all cats are very different, so you must know your cat. In this instance I purchased this warm mat for three cats I was cat-sitting. Two of them sat on it and one of them slept on it. The third cat, however, did not want to touch it. (See pics) so overall a great rating! It is very light and fluffy. It slips and slides around more than I expected. The cats knew the difference between the door mat and this bed. And although he still slept on the doormat sometimes 😂 he also slept on this one for a longer deeper sleepUpdate:I bought one for my mom’s cat recently. She has been the most picky cat so far. She’s a princess so if something is not up to her standards she won’t use it. I bought a mini cat post she only slept on once. I bought her a window hammock balcony that took her a looooong time to finally start to sleep on. I bought a round bed that she has been rejecting for months and still doesn’t use. And another wooden hammock-like bed that also took months and she finally warmed up to using it (rarely). BUT THIS ONE!!! I bought it on the 19th and put it on my yoga mat and by the 21 she was already cozy on it 🥹🥹 and the biggest thing to note here is she always has her routine. Part of her routine is to sleep on my office chair at supper time. This bed broke her routine! She stays on this warm kitty mat rather than my office chair! That’s a huge deal cuz she will actually steal my seat from me when I leave the room! So this cat bed is amazing 10/10
