Nice tone for such a small instrument

I bought this after looking at so many others on offer with Amazon as it seemed to have all the basics recommended for these particular musical instruments. It is well-finished and I like that it comes as a kit with a good strong bag, two strikers and stand, four finger strikers, and a rudimentary music book to get you started. The drum itself is more rounded than others and made from carbon steel, and this gives a much better note with more resonance, it is surprisingly loud for a small instrument. It is certainly not just a toy, but a very useful and tuneful starter tongue drum at a good price for adults and children.

Saw these on Tik Tok and thought I have to one of those for when it rains. Sadly though the rain does not make it that tuneful. Barely audible. Has an internal drain hole with rubber plug that can be removed. One bonus is it looks good. Comes in a colourful case with two little drum sticks.

I wanted this Tongue Drum to help me focus (my mind chatters too much). The Tongue Drum has helped me to concentrate. I have a piano, which I haven't played for some time, as it causes me back pain sitting on the stool. The drum is lightweight and easy to play at a dining room table. You do need to know a bit of music theory to get the timing right.

Love it. Can’t say I play it well but it gives me something to do instead of moping around feeling sorry for myself!

The media could not be loaded. I can't complain for the price. It's beautiful and there is hardly any tinny sounds. Likely the flat sound are due to my inexperience in playing. And the carrying case is ADORABLE.
