Theese are great patio LED bulbs and put out an exceptional light. But they are long and won't fit into most glass fixtures on the patio. But I found a work around and made a shade out of a plastic 16 ounce Folgers Instant Coffee jar. The label pulls off really easily then drilled 4 - 1/4" vent holes evenly spaced around the jar just underneath the top part of jar wher the cap screws on at the wides part of jar. Jar fits most patio light fixtures and woks perfectly and is crystal clear. Keeps you from having to buy a new light fixture and installing it. These bulbs are really bright and lights up the entire patio.

I replaced the 100w LED bulbs for my front and back door steps, geez, they actually light up my front and back yards incredibly well. I'm going to buy two more so I never have to experience night time at my house ever again 😄😉

These ARE bright! Definitely 2-3x brighter than the oversized CFL bulbs they're replacing in my photography setup. And the color temp is definitely as described. I don't think that makes them truly as bright as a "500 w equivalent" by any stretch - I wouldn't want to try lighting a workshop or warehouse with these on the ceiling. At least, not without a LOT of them, and at that point you'd be better served getting some true high-bay LED UFO lights or even just T8 LED replacements. Still, for my purposes they look great so far! One is a little buggy in that it doesn't turn on if screwed ALL the way in - it needs to stay about a half turn LOOSE or it shuts back off. Which is... odd. But not a real problem. Time will tell if they last (the LED chips should be good for a lifetime, but the drivers running them seem to fail a lot on cheaper bulbs like this, according to reviews of similar lights)

I purchased two of these lights July 21, 2024. When I got them and put them in the light fixture one at my front door at my back door I absolutely love them because they were so bright and lit up a good portion of my porch so that I could see at night in the door. However, today, September 25, 2024 my back one blew out.

Fit nice in my garage fixtures. Nice and Bright.
